@Meconneno Really ? Amazing finding about another matter that is none of your business. It looks OPB is your specialty😂.How is that for abbreviation? Get over it, it is social media dude.
@AfricaFirsts The North South portion, Cairo-Gaborone highway project was under planning with a project office in the auspices of UNECA in Addis Ababa in the 1980s. South Africa was under Apartheid then, even my Ethiopian passport I got in 1991 had a validation stamp“Except South Africa”
@addisstandard Is this the same Alula who was fanning the flames of war declaring “war is a cultural game for Tigray”? The initiative will not be credible with people of Alula’s reputation fronting it.
@BashirHashiysf You seem to forget Mekelle is sovereign territory of Ethiopia. The Pretoria agreement clearly established the ENDF -Ethiopian Federal Army is the only legitimate army. The ENDF can go anywhere within the sovereign territory of Ethiopia without asking permission from anyone!!
@alatesh_alatesh@wdavison10 You are a fucking lier ! 8 awrajas taken from Tigray is impossible!! There were a total of 108 Awrajas in the whole of Ethiopia
!!Here is a map of Ethiopian provinces in 1935 (Perham 1969)
@wdavison10 the people of Wolkait and Tegede suffered immensely under TPLF tyranny for more than 3 decades. TPLF dictated they are Tigrayans, they tried to challenge this under TPLF’s constitution. TPLF violently suppressed it, the horror stories we heard are coming to light now.
@alatesh_alatesh@wdavison10 You have no clue! Tigray never crossed Tekezie. Wolkait was never an Awraja, it was a Woreda under Wogera Awraja. There was nothing called KIFLE-gizat, there was Teqlay-gizat. Begemedr & Tigray had 8 Awrajas each, so you are lied about the 8 awrajas taken from Tigray. See map.
@alatesh_alatesh@wdavison10 Get the chronology correct. Weyane did not pass any constitution in 1991. It was adopted Dec 1994, and came into force Aug 1995. Weyane Annexed Wolqait Tegede & Telemt crossing Tekeze river in 1991 way before constitution was adopted. state boundaries are not in the constitution
@alatesh_alatesh@sajid_nadeem78 Did you even read the Pretoria agreement? The ENDF is the ONLY defense force recognized by the parties to the agreement( Article 6A See also Articles 3.5 and 8.3)
@gulledmahad3@4rukun I find this claim of Egyptian political influence on Djibouti baffling. Apparently Ethiopia provides fresh water to Djibouti to the tune of 100K cubic meters per day( pumped 250 km from wells in Ethiopia )Do the folks realize how vital that water is to the population of Djibouti?
@SirakBahlbi Anybody who knows anything about Ethiopian history knows this fact! But history tells us this is not unique to Ethiopia or Haileselassie. It happened many places in the world, people usurp power through might!
@SG795710834363@SirakBahlbi Tell that to Zimbabwe freedom fighters, Nelson Mandela and ANC. Also Ethiopia was the main advocate to isolate Apartheid’s South Africa.
@SirakBahlbi I agree collaborators came from every corner of Ethiopia. Note also patriots like Col Belay Haileab and many askaris who defected to join the patriots.
No Dejach Gebrehiwot Baykedagn in Shewa. Only person by that name was a foreign educated intellectual Tegaru, died in 1919!!
@Eth_Ireland Your story is missing something. Poly was a 2 year trade school that trained technicians, there was no ME program there. I think he studied engineering before he joined NASA.
