Today I join others from across our game and call for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA President.

Ukraine spent weeks systematically torching Wildberries warehouses deep inside the country, framing them as dual-use logistics for the army.

Then a drone slammed into a crowded Black Sea beach, killing civilians including children.

Russia answered by methodically hitting Ukrainian retail centers, food storage, logistics hubs, and building-materials warehouses.

Cue the selective outrage.

You cannot celebrate “bringing the war home” to the other side’s economy and public spaces, then clutch pearls when the same logic is applied in reverse.

Logistics hubs, distribution centers, and supply networks feed both war machines.

Once that threshold is crossed, reciprocity is not “unprovoked terror”but it is rather the predictable grammar of the conflict both sides are fighting.

Call it escalation supremacy or just cold arithmetic but remember that the side that expands the target set owns the consequences.

Pretending otherwise is theater for the audience that still believes wars can be moralized into asymmetry.
