Our beautiful island has a long painful experience with gun crimes.

In the last 30 years over 35,000 Jamaicans have been murdered by the gun. That is like an( entire stadium )of lives lost.
Of that number, statistic shows approximately 1,000 children over that period were killed by the gun.

I believe in firm laws that deter illegal possession, protect our children/citizens and I reject the normalization of gun in our culture.
