@AC84593 @alunsays And for Ian who may well have been listening.

Oh dear. Not impressed with Gruff Rhys' version of Living In The Past at the BBC Prog Rock Prom. Didn't know the song at all. Disappointing. I'd go far as to say it was a b**ls up.

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@LouiseTempActor Maybe that was why they cut Reasons for Waiting...it was scheduled (in the Radio Times) after the King Crimson medley. A shame. Ian was probably listening!

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@davidascottuk @bbcproms Actually I thought Guy Garvey very good. IMHO Gruff Rhys...not so much.

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@bbcproms now this is very good! 21st Century Schizoid Man/I Talk to the Wind.

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@TOPJBHOY @bbcproms At least he's a Prog fan 😁

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@itsmesharney I do know the original, perhaps too well. And I accept it will never be like that. Also I'm a musician and a singer. And IMHO it was a poor attempt! But I'm enjoying the rest of it so far, especially Tubular Bells! The orchestra is excellent (obvs!) 😀

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@TOPJBHOY @bbcproms Was dreadful!

[Karen Rash @rash1_rash]

@dotterel @StuartMaconie Most disappointed with attempt at Living in the Past. The singer didn't know the song at all. Bit of a car crash. Hope the evening improves!
