@tom_peters In today’s tip everywhere world, the housekeeping staff at hotels have not figured out a tipping model yet. There is likely a barrier because hotel management may not allow it. What’s stopping the housekeeping staff to leave a Venmo QR code for tips?
Same for pistaccio. California cannot produce to the high level of market share for pistaccio without hurting other farming and the local farming community. Best wines in California are produced where the growers allow for the native diversity of fruits… not just maximize for $$$ with high value grapes.
Makes sense, very good insight… A role like this has existed in different fashions in Fortune 500 companies, it’s called business analyst. In some instances a business analyst is the conduit between the data/analytics and the sales/marketing team. In another instance, the business analyst in IT is the conduit between the technical team and the business process domain experts. But with AI, the technical competency required will be different…
It’s a multiplier in the early years because the early adopters reap a lot more benefits. Over time more tools will equalize and democratize assuming the human/AI interface gets better and simpler. For example, if an average person has to vibe code and learn openclaw to take full advantage of AI’s promise, it will not create the value on a mass scale.
@WeTheBrandon@megynkelly Not really. American people won. If China suffers, we will pay for it… everything we buy comes through supply chain dependent on China. So, this is a good thing.
@jlippincott I recommend we throw in a bit about Sufi-inspired poetry… a discussion on mysticism in all the monotheistic religions of the world - Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
