Do I need to upload a photo of my kitchen ingredients, scan them, or manually upload a list and then it will search the recipes specific to that.

There is now a browser called ARC as well, that was basically made to organize your tabs much better. Feel free to check them out :) Maybe they will help in polishing the idea
