@sapphicsuicides Hi! Generalizing vegan clothing as plastic and thus bad is one-dimensional in a multitude of ways. It ignores the moral and environmental issues of animal ag. (including its plastic use) and disregards plant fibers. Not to mention, synthetic clothing isn't a 'vegan' problem.

Hi! Leather and wool production are not sustainable at all + they involve plastic: in crop production, feed packaging, equipment etc. Not to mention the greenhouse gasses, waste pollution, water and land use + toxic pollution from tanneries. And, the animals are killed.

2. Production of wool and leather isn't sustainable

3. Wool and leather are co-products to meat: they all fund slaughter

can’t stress enough how stupid vegan materials are. they are all PLASTIC which is infinitely worse for the planet. considering meat is still a major industry we should be utilising every part of the animal. that’s the most sustainable method.
