Today around 3:58 PM at Handwara town, i found a dumper carrying sand from Rajwar, without a registration plate. With no authorised sand mining known in the area, the source and permits and transportaion need verification @HandwaraP

@CBIHeadquarters @JKACB @JmuKmrPolice @dckupwara CAG in it's March 2026 Report has flagged serious financial irregularities. Continueing work is completely lawlessness and clear attack on the rule of law

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

@diprjk @dckupwara @HandwaraP @JKACB @CBIHeadquarters Who sanctioned the work? What is the source of funding? If illegal mining caused the damage, who will bear the restoration cost?

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

Bridge at Zachaldara Rajwar Handwara of North Kashmir weakened due to illegal mining, now jacketing is being carried out without a proper damage assessment and without the required PMGS NOC/approval @diprjk

As a responsible citizen,i welcome today’s action by J&K ACB. Corruption is not just a crimeit is also a corrupt mindset that erodes public trust.Every genuine complaint deserves fair investigation,&wrongdoing must face the law.Accountability is the foundation of good governance.

[J&K Anti Corruption Bureau @JKACB]

ACB traps and arrests Two Police Officers while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.15,000. More details on https://t.co/AONWpzsLHU @diprjk @shaktipathak71

@NITIAayog @OfficeOfLGJandK @PIBHomeAffairs @diprjk Good governance is being hampered by prolonged postings of some officers in key sectors, along with growing concerns over lobbyism and alleged nepotism. Tenure norms must be followed in the interest of transparency, fairness and public trust.

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

Overstaying officers in Revenue, Health, PWD & other departments of Handwara sub-District of north kashmir should be transferred, in the interest of efficient, transparent and accountable administration.@NITIAayog @OfficeOfLGJandK @PIBHomeAffairs @diprjk

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

@JmuKmrPolice @HandwaraP In discharge of my fundamental duty under Article 51A(g), I acted to protect our forests. Let the #RuleOfLaw prevail. 🌲⚖️ @dig_north.

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

Despite the DFO Langate directions, local forest officials did not visit the spot i, on Aug 19, 2026 i filed a complaint at Police Post Zachaldara Handwarq seeking an FIR under Sections 303, 314,316 & 317 of the BNS over the loot of forest @JmuKmrPolice @HandwaraP

Journalists in J&K must follow UNICEF's ethical guidelines on reporting involving children. Hope @diprjk will sensitise the media accordingly.

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

Summer vacation in J&K is a child's right. Headlines are not.
Children are not sound bites. Interviewing or recording children without appropriate parental consent may be inconsistent with UNICEF's ethical guidelines on reporting involving children.@diprjk @sakinaitoo @NCPCR_

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

Various additional changes were assigned , one among them is facing ACB J&K DA FIR and committed other several misconducts

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

When accountability is ignored, public trust suffers. A recent additional charges in PWD Kupwara, despite pending vigilance proceedings against one, raises serious concerns under FR 49 of DoPT guidelines and other Service rules.Rule of law must prevail. @JKACB @DoPTGoI @dckupwara

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

What happened in Budgam is heartbreaking and unacceptable. Incidents that cost innocent lives or dignity can never be brushed aside. Truth must come out, responsibility must be fixed, and justice must prevail.

[Rasikh Rasool @RasikhRasool]

HUGE LOSS to the State exchequer, forests, environment, and wildlife habitat caused by the illegal construction of the Handwara–Bangus road through the Rajwar forests of North Kashmir merely a money-minting machine for a few at the cost of fragile ecology, biodiversity, wildlife.
