Watched it and I get why people react.
1. You focus on Fortnite - that it self could be OK but then you focus on that you cant see the enemies in comparison to "performance mode". They are the total opposite against each other. You say that Fortnite looks great with RT enabled - and thats the whole point of it. You think people buy a RT VGA, because of RT to play Fortnite at PM?
2. Your own survey is 2 years old. Even then, 48% of your answers do say that they use it. Thats... A lot. Remember at that time: 7% RTX 3060, 4% RTX 2060, 4% 1650. Today 4% RTX 3060, 1,8% RTX 2060, 1,6% 1650.
3. You then show current survey where you group sometimes use RT together with No, its not worth it. Talking about a shocking results. Is that your conclusion? That conclusion is shocking. If they enable RT at all, just for one game - then they use the technology. Maybe they dont use it for Fortnite but for Horizen. They still use it.
4. You talk so much about the 8-years. NVIDIA do not implement the technology to the games. Its not a switch the games developers switch on. The game-engine have to support it and even if it does - its not a switch. The huge drop in FPS that you many times see is mostly related to bad coding/implementation from the game developer. When they state that its not worth it - they just dont talk about how the shadows appears in comparison to if they dont use the technology - they also talk about the cost. When you implement it, the effect is not just calculated based on what you see on the screen. It also calculates whats behind you, whats behind walls and so on. The development team more or less have to "erase" what should not be included. This takes time, and money.

No its not reasonable. You cant pick and choose who gets special treatments. He broke the law and its not even a grey zone.
