Who would have thought that a nation built off the backs of Black slaves would purposely create and foster conditions that it would use to indiscriminately criminalize the marginalized descendants of black slaves and others, give them decades-long prison sentences, otherwise known as modern-day enslavement, and then make them pay for their own enslavement?

Not enough of us, apparently.

That's the so-called freedom too many Americans want. Racism is still profitable. The profit part is the part that has to be eliminated before we can start to heal the centuries-old wounds of racism in America. It's not just about racism, though. It's a class issue and class war is the only war worth fighting.

Learn about abolition and reparations. Don't make assumptions about those concepts until you investigate them fully. A lot of smart people believe that building a movement founded upon these principles, to abolish and repair, is how we get through this period in history without completely destroying ourselves in the process.

Or, you could just vote harder and see if that will finally work out, but don't be surprised if people start looking at you crazy.
