why *is* emerald ore literally only found in like, three biomes?

why is a type of block deemed important enough to be an ore this damn rare, especially when it’s so easy to get from villagers??

@be3zy_b kinda sucks how villagers give so many so easily considering they're pretty damn annoying to get via mining. They require a mountain biome, and rarely spawn more than 1 per "vein"

if they did another villager revamp i sorta hope they become rarer
