What I find particularly interesting is how this relatively simple construction connects to broader questions in quantum chaos, random matrix theory, and black-hole dynamics.
I tried to give a short introduction to these ideas in the article.

Happy to share a short Journal Club I wrote for @NatRevPhys on spread complexity: Complexity from minimal state spreading
How much of the spreading of a quantum state is actually generated by the dynamics, rather than by our choice of basis?

Spread complexity answers this by looking for the basis in which the state spreads as little as possible during its evolution. For a time-independent Hamiltonian, this turns out to pick out the Krylov basis.
We also showed that Krylov complexity obeys a Lloyd-like bound and exhibits subadditivity through mutual complexity measures, which actually enables us to compare with holographic volume complexity predictions. (5)
I'm grateful and fortunate to be conducting my joint postdoctoral research at two of the top 6 institutes in the world: MIT(#1) and the Weizmann Institute of Science(#6). It's a special feeling to see this ranking.
We're proud to share that the Weizmann Institute of Science has been ranked 6th in the world in the 2025 @cwtsleiden Ranking - a jump of four places from the 2024 ranking and our highest position since the ranking was introduced some two decades ago >> https://t.co/YNbQnHGe0S
@siddharthb_@puch_ai PhD in theoretical physics, working on quantum complexity, chaos & scalable algorithms. I’d bring my information theory and computational experience to help build interpretable and efficient AI for a billion+ people. Always curious, eager to learn, and ready for new challenges.
Received the Best Poster Award @ct_qmat conference in Dresden for my work on Chaos & Integrability in Triangular Billiards! 🌟 Huge thanks to Prof. Dr. Johanna Erdmenger, Prof. Dr. Vijay Balasubramaniam & Dr. Zhuo-yu Xian for this amazing collaboration.

It's really annoying when people who pretend to do proper dissemination actually spread fake news. And notoriously fake news get a lot of clicks. I really do not understand: it's so simple to at least ask to an actual expert of the field, as in this video.

Take a look at my short presentation on Rational Conformal Field Theory and Verlinde Operators as part of the DRP Türkiye program. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot, huge thanks to the organizers and my mentor Batuhan Acar.

Today is a day of light, a celebration of knowledge, and a tribute to those who spread it—our teachers. On this Indian Teacher's Day, I bow to all of them with deep respect and gratitude! #teachersday2024#teachersdaycelebration
