The Bengals do a great job getting a portion of the fanbase to turn on players once they hit free agency.

"He's not worth that money"

All of these things were said about Justin Smith, Takeo Spikes, Eric Steinbach, Johnathan Joseph, Kevin Zeitler, Jessie Bates and MANY others.
