கருத்து வேறுபாடுகள் அரசியலில் இயல்பானவை. ஆனால் பெண்களை இழிவுபடுத்தும் வகையிலோ, இரட்டை அர்த்தம் கொண்ட வார்த்தைகளாலோ, ஆபாசமான மொழியாலோ கருத்துகளை வெளிப்படுத்துவது ஒருபோதும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியாது. அரசியல் மேடை என்பது மக்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டும் இடமே தவிர, பெண்களின் மாண்பைக் காயப்படுத்தும் வார்த்தைகள் ஒலிக்கும் இடமாக மாறக் கூடாது.

தமிழ்நாட்டின் தாய்மார்கள், சகோதரிகள், மகள்கள் அனைவரும் கண்ணியத்துடனும் மரியாதையுடனும் நடத்தப்பட வேண்டியவர்கள். அவர்களின் மனதைப் புண்படுத்தும் வகையில் பேசப்படும் எந்தவொரு வார்த்தையும் ஒட்டுமொத்த பெண் சமுதாயத்தையே அவமதிப்பதாகும். பெண்களை மதிக்கத் தெரியாதவர்களுக்கு, மக்களின் மனதை மதிக்கவும் தெரியாது என்பதை இத்தகைய பேச்சுகள் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றன.

பெண்களை இழிவுபடுத்தும் அரசியல் மொழிக்கு தமிழ்நாட்டின் பெண்கள் ஒருபோதும் இடமளிக்க மாட்டார்கள். பெண்களின் கண்ணியத்தை காயப்படுத்தும் இதுபோன்ற பேச்சுகளுக்கு ஜனநாயக ரீதியாக தக்க பதிலை தமிழக பெண்கள் வழங்குவார்கள்.
