Too much time has passed for any new mainstream blockchain game to matter. The real ones were ignored early (like @GenDungeon), and now the window is basically closed. Big studios are just going to build their own in-house chains.
You’re telling me companies like Rockstar don’t have the money, talent, or time to spin up proprietary blockchain infrastructure and keep everything internal? Of course they do, and they will.
The gambling crowd poisoned the well. Speculators turned the entire space into a casino, and that killed mainstream credibility.
Normal people don’t care about decentralization. Joey JoJo doesn’t care if his AI chatbot runs on decentralized tokens. He wants something that works, charges a monthly subscription, and disappears into the background. That’s it.
Maybe ETH gets used quietly for some backend settlements. BTC sticks around as BTC. Everything else?
I don’t think meaningful NEW money is coming into the shitcoin space. It’s just capital rotating between the same participants, over and over, until the underlying tech fades into infrastructure embedded in everyday products, invisible to users, and no longer branded as “crypto” at all.
