Calling them the Gestapo is inflammatory and defamatory but this is what ICE agents are doing. They’re murdering people in the street, they’re abducting entire families and disappearing them, they’re kidnapping children, beating up teenagers and soccer moms and teachers and priests. They’re going from house to house, searching for black and brown people and if you don’t let them into your house, they’ll force their way in and then arrest you. They’re breaking into cars, demanding identification - only to then ignore the fact you are a citizen.

But sure, don’t call them the Gestapo. That’s mean, that puts them in danger.
