Last week, the Radcliffe Science Library @radcliffescilib played host to these lovely 'therapy dogs' which brought a smile to the faces of students and colleagues!
The dogs are well-trained and have a great temperament, and care is taken to make sure they are not overwhelmed.

I've been working on this kind of perspective recently. It isn't nurtured in academia but it should be, particularly as a PhD student - I am supposed to be learning and developing, not 'winning' or proving myself.
