Since I'm logged on for the first time in forever, here are images of me and my Ghouls being absolutely attacked by the wind at C2E2 last month ๐๐ค๐ป
@spillsways The only reason I called is because it is an active graveyard and the lines are kind of blurred there since it is used in movies and TV. My best advice is to always just double check when something could be sensitive like that. I'm again really sorry you had a bad experience :(((
@spillsways and this was back in October. Even with permission I still didn't show up in full costume, I double checked with somebody working there and she said of course so I put my costume on in the bathroom there. It's mostly just because it's an active gravesite :(
@spillsways we didn't exactly have to schedule, we were in Cali because we had flown out to see Interpol and I figured I would hit two birds with one stone if Mountainview allowed me to. I emailed them at first and they said nothing so I called them the day of to see if they would allow us
@spillsways no problem! I'm really sorry that you guys had a bad experience. Everybody there was super nice to us and we've been there twice. (once in cosplay once normal)
I didn't see anything on the site either, which is why I gave them a call before I showed up. :((
@spillsways I still have a lot of editing for a photoshoot I did in October bc I have to blur everyones names and everything. If you weren't in cosplay they would have no problem, you just need to ask permission because it /is/ an active cemetary. Everyone there was incredibly kind to us.
@spillsways You are only allowed to go in cosplay if you have prior permission. We called ahead to see if I was alright to show up and do a Cardinal Copia photoshoot there and they allowed me to so long as I followed the rules they gave me over the phone. It's different than going to visit.
