I lost track of cross-posting all of my Pokemon drawings on Twitter but I've finished the first 150 and am continuing to draw the remaining 900-ish. I'm thinking I might just post specific favorites on Twitter rather than each one
@SentaiFive Maybe you can go with the excuse George Carlin talks about and just tell them you'd be great on a jury because you can tell who's guilty just by looking at them
FL police use A.I. to identify a vehicle theft suspect from surveillance video. Based on an "85% match" they arrest and charge Jalil Richardson. He spends 3 months in jail. He loses his job, his home, and custody of his kids.
Richardson lives in N.C.
He's never been to Florida. And his timesheet shows him at work at the time of the crime. No one checked before charging him. https://t.co/2AcQYwq30f

I think it is possible to appreciate an artist's talent while also questioning the lens through which they tell a story. My issue has never been that Marjane Satrapi shared her experience, every person has the right to tell their own story. The problem is when one experience becomes the story of an entire nation, revolution or faith tradition.
As a Muslim woman, I find it frustrating that Western audiences often amplify narratives that confirm their existing assumptions about Islam, hijab, or West Asia, while ignoring the voices of millions of women who experienced empowerment, education, social mobility and political agency in very different ways.
A society of 90 million people cannot be reduced to the memories of one privileged family, just as no revolution can be understood solely through the perspective of those who lost status because of it. Real understanding requires listening to multiple voices, including those that rarely get translated, published or celebrated in Western cultural spaces.
trick for this to work as a franchise is just finding new ways for new characters to end up in the backrooms and they respond differently and give tiny crumbs of added lore each time. Hellraiser approach as opposed to the lore maximalism of like the Saw franchise.
I miss when politics was like this.
Zohran isssued an executive order repealing kids bedtimes so kids can watch the knicks finals.
So innocent, unserious but playful. Brings back humanity.
Banning Cenk Uyghur and Hasan Piker from entering the UK is an absurd and cowardly decision from an increasingly authoritarian government.
Let us call this what it is: an attack on the freedom to criticise Israel, as well as the UK government’s own complicity in genocide.
for $15 million dollars [elton john voice] you can tell everybody. who cares. the credits will roll on my first feature with vanity card saying "this movie was made on 100% ass money"
Young people are always told what not to do. But what should you do?
Did you know that most public libraries have a Nintendo Switch to use? That parks show free movies at night? That there's a map of pickup basketball games?
https://t.co/Nb8rOAGO4T is a map of free and affordable things to do this summer that we made just for you.
Because public programs mean nothing if you don't know how to access them.
