I just love seeing MAGA heads explode when told that a Muslim, Estevanico, explored what is now Florida, the Gulf Coast, and the Southwest during the 1520s-1530s. The oldest continuous European settlement in the U.S., St. Augustine (1565), has records of Muslims in the 1580s.
