我知道不少人對此有誤解，以下整理幾項事實：

(1) 搬遷計畫早已啟動。 早在2016年就有搬遷計畫，並於2022年11月完成資金調度規劃與建築設計。
(2) 建設費用超支有其原因。 工程錯誤造成的損失，加上戰爭爆發後建材價格飆漲，使總建設費用超出預算約1,740萬歐元。

What about nearby German seal centers like Norddeich? Transporting a wild, protected animal across national borders is illegal, it's basically smuggling. It needs paperwork and preparation. So if the seals don't swim to Germany on their own, I don't see how this could work.

I think the criticism towards Zeehondencentrum is partially unfair and based on sources amplified through social media. There will always be hostility towards big ambitious projects (esp in rural areas), and there is no coastal region I know of without hostility towards seals 😢
