The CBC baseball team defeated Vianney 6-1 in the Class 6 semifinals on Friday at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex to secure a spot in the championship game at 1PM Saturday against either Rockhurst or Blue Springs South.
Senior left-hander Danny Berger (6-1) tossed a complete game and allowed just one run on six hits. Senior center fielder GT Taylor had a two-double, two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. Junior catcher Mason Sabin had two hits. Sophomore shortstop Tyler Picker scored two runs.
