Lauren Hemp on making 200 City appearances: “I was looking back at videos of when I joined when I was 18 years old, and I feel like I'm so different now. Even my voice as well, it sounds so different.
“I feel like I've grown so much as a player and a person and the people that I've had the privilege of playing alongside of for the whole time, it’s been really special.
“It was nice the other day to look back and remember all the fond memories I've had since I joined and all the people who have played a part up until now helping me get to 200 appearances because I think when I was younger I didn't imagine that I'd be amongst those who have surpassed 200 appearances so it means a lot.
“It's been filled with so many special memories and lots of trophies along the way. Hopefully there's many more still to add!”

Lauren Hemp on the potential of becoming City’s all time appearance maker: “I've seen the three people who I'm alongside of and it's an honour to be amongst them.
“They’re legends of this team and hopefully when I'm older people will recognise me as that, being a massive part of this team and its success over the years.
“It's a huge honour for me but I feel like I'm not finished yet and there's still so many more games. I've got to chase Steph haven’t I?”

Andrée Jeglertz on Aoba Fujino:
"I don't know where the end is for her... I can put her wherever I want and she will always be one of the best players in the game, because she's very intelligent. She deals with pressure in different ways. She wants to learn more, and she's improving her game so much."

Jade Rose has been immense for Man City today, some wobbly displays earlier this season but she looks back to the steady composure that defined her last campaign.
Andree Jeglertz: "Watching Lauren [Hemp] play football is amazing. Not just what she’s doing w/ the ball but contributing in other ways." Two goals, an assist.
Wrote this two weeks ago about Hemp. One of the most in-form players in Europe.

Lauren Hemp on the result: "It's massive for us. Obviously we've had a couple of draws recently which is not our standard and I thought we played really well today, we did well to come from behind a couple of times and obviously got the result in the end so credit to this team. I feel like we fought for every single ball, we are very passionate and obviously got the job done in the end which is great.
It was very difficult, they're a good team. They played some good passes and obviously went forward. It’s important that we came back and I think that shows the character of our team, that no matter who we come up against, I feel like we'll give it our all and in the end we got the job done.
I think for us it's about taking each game as it comes and obviously all go away for the international break and after that we'll come back together and hopefully carry on this start to the season." [via @BBCSport/@ManCityWomen]
