@YoungBobRB On the tenth anniversary of Jo Coxโs death, the police told you that your graze on your forehead is the most high profile assault theyโve seen???
I have a questionโฆ are you actually this fucking thick and desperate to titillate racists?
Horrible cunt
Meet James Bembridge, Deputy Editor of the controversial Country Squire Magazine, founded in 2016 by Dominic Wightman, a Conservative activist and its editor.
In June 2021, Bembridge retweeted defamatory allegations about journalist Peter Jukes, which were widely viewed as baseless and amounting to paedophile smears. After legal action was threatened, he apologised in July 2021, stating he had no reason to believe the claims and was unaware of any evidence, agreed to pay costs and a charity donation, and later deleted the apology tweet, which led to further criticism over transparency.
Separately, in 2023, Country Squire Magazine, under Dominic Wightman, lost a libel case brought by Chris Packham after publishing serious allegations about his conduct and charities.
The High Court awarded Packham ยฃ90,000 in damages, with critics describing the coverage as part of a broader pattern of hostile and conspiratorial reporting. Wightman declared bankruptcy before judgment, and Bembridge was linked to the publication as deputy editor but was not the primary author of the contested articles.
Country Squire frequently takes a strongly critical stance toward widely loved British institutions institutions such as the BBC and the National Trust, as well as environmental campaign groups, and broader progressive cultural trends.
The magazine is reactionary and highly polemical. Its commentary sometimes moves beyond cultural critique into rhetoric that is hostile toward minorities or conspiratorial in tone.
In particular, some pieces addressing Islam and immigration have been cited by detractors as examples of Islamophobic framing.
Critics interpret its arguments as blurring the line between criticism of religious doctrines and broader claims that can be read as portraying Islam or Muslims as incompatible with British civic life.
There have been numerous specific controversies around published content.
One example frequently cited is an opinion piece titled โGet Stuffed, รire,โ which drew public condemnation, including from broadcaster Philip Boucher-Hayes, who described it as offensive and raised concerns about it on Irish media.
Opponents of the magazine have also accused it of engaging in what they describe as โunmaskingโ or targeted criticism of individuals, sometimes characterising this as crossing into harassment or doxxing-like behaviour, particularly when articles focus on public figures, activists, or campaigners in contentious policy areas.
More recently, scrutiny has extended to perceived associations and political connections involving figures linked to the magazineโs contributors or wider network, particularly around James Bembridgeโs 2026 Reform UK candidacy.
Critics highlighted past interactions and favourable references involving violent multiply convicted far-right criminal grifter, Tommy Robinson, arguing that such associations suggest proximity to more hardline or populist right-wing politics.
David Starkey, the historian known for making widely criticised comments about race and slavery, has also been referenced in critical commentary as part of broader attempts to situate figures around the magazine within a more provocative ideological space.
Overall, Country Squire Magazine is a vehicle for culture war commentary that at times overlaps with inflammatory rhetoric on race, religion, and national identity, which contributes to polarisation in public debate, and which shamelessly normalizes far-right discourse.
The South Dorset Hunt... A fox killed, a children's meet, terriermen and foxes saved by pesky Sabs. Just a standard day out for the bloodlust junkies.

Yesterday one of us kept a sneaky eye on Colin Tizzard's Bassets hunting at the wildlife crime hotspot of Bagber. A dull and dismal affair thankfully. Some deer disturbed though.
Crazy morning on the BSV culminating in @dorsetpolice returning hounds running lost on the main road just in time to see a fox fleeing over the road right in front of them Stopped the hunt dead! Bit of an eye opener for them to say the least! With @Weymouthanimalr@DorsetMonitor

Out covertly watching the BSV hunt this morning. Filmed this kill at a huge distance hence the poor quality but shows hounds breaking up a fox and huntsman "ragging" the body. Second supporter in white shirt to the left of screen appears to be stripping the fox's tail. #huntscum

At the end of the season, our vehicle was damaged by hunt supporters who decided to take out their frustration on it. Window guards, number plates and wing mirrors were all ripped off, the rear door lock damaged, the drivers door handle snapped off.
South Dorset Hunt Meet at Dewlish. The usual road chaos, 1 hound hit, but 2 Foxes seen to safety. This hunt is a total shambles.
