@astridragons To be entirely fair though, as little as people comment these days, even just the “I loved it!” comments are helpful.
That little bit of extra engagement I mentioned really, really helps motivate writers, though. In my experience anyway. Makes us feel appreciated.

@astridragons My advice (as a writer and a reader) is that you don’t have to write an essay if you don’t want to. Just point out something specific that you loved. A moment/scene or a line, foreshadowing, detail, etc. That’s all we really need. Just that little engagement beyond “loved it!”.
