"So I've heard" he said, nodding softly.
He didn't expect the price to be easy on him but he didn't really care. He had nothing to lose anymore and if he had, he would give anything away for his sister.
"Because I need a way go harvest that energy and I don't have it".
Her idea wasn't bad, he had thought about it himself but he still lacked the dispositive to harvest such amount of energy and he couldn't precisely build a machine snapping his fingers.

She replied, gazing up at the man.
“Perhaps you could build one yourself.”

She spoke softly, she had nowhere else to go.. nowhere to be. So why not try and be of some assistance to him?

He said nothing for a moment, his blank expression giving nothing away. Not even his natural distrust. He didn't believe that for a second but he wouldn't reject if it was of use to him. If it was worth the risk, of course".

A soft laugh escaped her lips, she respected his drive and ambition.. something most people lacked.
“No cost.. i just want to be in the company of someone who knows what it’s like to be dead.”
"They say my ambitions is what got me killed" he chuckled, yet humorless.
His dark eyes met hers. Did she mean that? He was always distrusting.
