I am not who I was even a year ago, and thank goodness for that. The way that I have grown for Christ and started to live for Him with 100% of my life? Old me could never be this free.
The world is always changing, therefore you will always be chasing a reward that won’t last. But Jesus never changes. With Jesus, you will always have eternity with Him- now and forever.
As Christians, we shouldn’t live by the “do what makes you happy” or “you do you” phrases. We are here for the glory of God. We are here to do His work and follow His will for us. When we say yes to Him, we say no to our own selfish desires.
“We know by the grace of God our lives were spared that day and now we are trying to pick up the pieces,” Lynn Chief Bradley Fisher said. https://t.co/XDPShmr1uu
A reminder: we’re not always going to “feel” the Lord when worshiping Him, but worship anyway because His worthiness isn’t dependent on our feelings.
God’s silence doesn’t equal His absence.
He has promised to never leave us, and He’s a God who keeps His promises.
