By the way, welcome to my new followers! I've been engaging a bit more on here, particularly about #ActuallyAutistic things. But I'm also a muso, writer, actor, and enjoy board games and MTG Commander. I'm atypical in most things, and I like thinking about things deeply. Enjoy :)
@wachelreeks It is 100% my favourite deck, but it is also 90% trash ๐ it does have some cards in there that can legitimately do things, and Animar is of course a house, but most of the time this deck is just there to be silly and do funny things.
@wachelreeks I have this Aussie deck that runs lots of typical Aussie creatures - sharks, spiders, snakes, a wombat, a magpie, crocs, etc. But then it also has deserts, Flood (like, the card), mining, gambling, and more. It does have Animar at the helm (so it runs!)

@SpIinterCal I'm sorry, any game I'm in that doesn't have fast travel/telelportation of some sort I'll wish it was there ๐ even if a game is absolutely gorgeous, I will turn off very quickly if I'm needing to just move from A to B for a few minutes. I really hate grinding as well.
@rho_radio Yep. Intentionally don't use ai for anything. (I think I played around with a couple of the image ones to just see what they'd make once or twice, but didn't use the images)
@wachelreeks Basically just having at least a moment where it feels like they're either having an impact at the table, or demonstrating what their deck is able to do/supposed to do.
@screenrant Fuck yes. There were so many storylines left hanging in this that haven't been touched since. I *loved* the first one so much, it showed off some really interesting powers and characters.
@JimDavisMTG As other people have said, basically when you're building decks, you're making a choice about how you build it. You can build the best deck for that commander. Or you can use all your nostalgia cards. Or somewhere in-between. It's up to you. There's no wrong answer.
On our street, everyone is welcome. Together, letโs build a world where every person and family feels loved and respected for who they are. Happy #PrideMonth!
