A Postmodern Lullaby:
That which is up is most certainly down
Words have no meaning, clear as a clown.
Linguistic gymnastics and moving goal posts is the game.
Because Derrida is a postmodernist and we misinterpret the way…
A lot of people truly have no idea how much work has been done to lay the ground to make this moment possible.
First, there were the OG TERFs (@WomensLibFront and @WDI_USA, for example), who have been talking about this for decades. We were women on the political left who made the choice to work with conservative women. Those conservative women paid attention to the TERFs starting in 2019, but hardly anyone else did. One of them worked directly with the TERFs when she was drafting her Idaho bill protecting female-only sports, which went into effect on March 30, 2020. Her name is Barbara Ehardt.
The OG TERFs have filed countless briefs before various courts, explaining why women deserve female-only sports and spaces (among other things), and those briefs have influenced the courts, including the Supreme Court that decided in June that state laws mandating single-sex sports are consistent with Title IX and the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution.
@WDI_USA has been working with women all over the world, on every continent, to fix this mess globally, since 2020.
Then, the movement started to grow and grow and grow. @Riley_Gaines_ started speaking out in 2022, the same year that @icons_women formed after Will Thomas was allowed to compete in the 2022 NCAA women's swimming championships. ICONS has filed multiple lawsuits all over the country to protect female-only sports.
@WomenAreReals has grown by leaps and bounds to push back in California since it was formed in 2022 or 2023) and is in Sacramento all the time, explaining to CA Democrats (and Republicans) why women deserve female-only sports and spaces.
@xx_xyathletics came along in 2024, created a terrific brand, and encouraged everyone to get out there wearing XX-XY gear. The @LGBCourage has been around for several years now, testifying all over the country. @DIAGdemocrats, on whose board I serve, also emerged in 2024 and is providing grassroots support to the countless rank-and-file Democrats who agree that women deserve our own sports and spaces.
So many women have joined this movement over the years, thanks to all of these efforts.
And then, came along Sophie, with her glorious point. Some of us (not me) knew that she was on-side for a variety of reasons, and then she made that clear to everyone.
Women have organized rally after rally to support Sophie at the Fever games. The first was the inspiration of the founder of @WomenAreReals. They have mostly been organized by @KnownHeretic and @JenniferSey. They have gotten a lot of attention, bringing even more people into the movement to protect the sex-based rights of women and girls, not only in sports, but in prisons and in public bathrooms.
This movement has grown organically, over time.
It's great what these men are doing, but let's not pretend that this is all going to come crashing down because of a genius move (which it is) made by two men.
The groundwork for this moment has been laid over decades due to hard work by women.
I would like to add a few more observations regarding @ConceptualJames' post below:
For many years, I have sponsored and moderated scholastic debates in a modified Lincoln-Douglas format, engaging participants from various backgrounds, including Protestants and Catholics, Protestants and Open Theists, Protestants and members of the Jesus Seminar, Protestants and Muslims, as well as credobaptists and paedobaptists among others.
Despite our profound disagreements, we managed to engage in these discussions with civility (with the exception being a debate with Bishop Spong in 2006).
The current dynamics in social media and mainstream media appear to be designed to undermine our capacity to disagree vehemently while still preserving the cohesive fabric of our society.
What is labeled as debate in contemporary discourse often devolves into mere shouting matches, where individuals hurl unfounded accusations and resort to every conceivable ad hominem attack known to humanity.
In essence, the nature of today's debates has shifted away from addressing the core issues or seeking the truth. Instead, these "debates" have become contests over who can dominate the other in a theatrical exhibition of rhetorical skill.
It should be apparent to everyone that those on both the Woke Right and Woke Left are essentially actors delivering rehearsed talking points and scripted arguments. They are both engaged in a debate against the reasonable center, which once formed the basis of our national discourse, while simultaneously accelerating the contradictions that challenge this center.
On the faux Woke Right, we see individuals such as Fuentes, Carlson, Owens, Jones, Poso, Flynn, Knowles, and the ever-present Auron MacIntyre. Please note that Auron MacIntyre is not his actual name: it is a stage name used by someone participating in the Critical America Theory narrative.
On the faux Woke Right, we also have the "Motte" Christian Nationalists who question the validity of our constitutional republic, while the "Bailey" Christian Nationalists advocate for revolution and fragmentation. Both factions are part of an anti-liberty movement aimed at dismantling the United States of America.
On the faux Woke Left, we encounter progressives who do not embody true liberalism and are also part of the anti-liberty movement intent on overthrowing the United States. These actors include AOC, "Mayor" Mamdani, Hasan Piker, and many others associated with the DNC and DSA, all of whom are striving to end freedom and liberty in the United States.
This is a meticulously directed stage play.
Of course there will be staged internal debates within both the Woke Left and Woke Right. These echo chambers allow the movement to expand in an effort to create a broad coalition. The phrase, "We might have our differences on some of the details, but we both agree that there has to be a change" will emerge as Baptists, Theonomists, 7 Mountain Mandate, Charismatics, and Integralist Roman Catholics come together for this Neo-Integralist project.
What is unfolding before your eyes is a coordinated initiative aimed at achieving "regime change" through the application of well established Marxist and Fascist revolutionary tactics - while being accelerated through social media and heavily funded by Russia, China, BRICS/BRI nations, and domestic agitators in the TechBro community.
Both have the same goal: the end of the United States of America as we know it.

If you think men belong in women’s sports I can dismiss anything you have to say because you’re either too scared to speak the truth or too dumb and captured to realize you’re in a cult.
Charlie Kirk knew exactly how to dismantle Hasan Piker and his socialist views
Nothing ends a socialist argument faster than asking them to actually live like one 😭🔥
To all the "transphobes," a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman. What that might look like is different for every woman.
Women don't owe you femininity. Stop gatekeeping womanhood and policing women's bodies.
Of course these two should be allowed in the league. What do you mean they should have to take drugs. Why? What is "fairness"? Sports are unfair already. Michael Phelps has an unfair advantage but he isn't banned. Tall women are playing in the WNBA, so why can't they?
Are you saying women are weak and fragile and need to be protected?
Are you saying you get to decide what someone's identity is?
There are only two of them. What percentage of all athletes do they comprise? Like, less than 0.0003%.
OMG, this is such a total non issue that you are blowing up into a culture war. Just two people, TWO! Out of how many thousands.
You're directing all this hate towards destroying the lives of two people who just want to play sport instead of worrying about the economy and world hunger.
The intellectual case against Marxism was won more than a century ago. The most rigorous and devastating blows came from the Austrian School of economics – but the strange part is that hardly anyone is taught the winning arguments.
Carl Menger’s subjective theory of value, developed in the 1870s, undermined the labour theory of value on which Marx built his entire system. Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk then delivered a systematic demolition of Marx’s economics, exposing the contradictions in the theory of surplus value and the so-called transformation problem. Ludwig von Mises went further still, demonstrating that rational economic calculation is impossible under socialism because without private property and market prices there is no way to allocate resources efficiently. Friedrich Hayek later extended this into the knowledge problem: the information required to run a complex economy is dispersed and cannot be centralised. And Murray Rothbard showed how Marx misunderstood the nature of capitalism by replacing voluntary exchange and entrepreneurial creation with a false theory of exploitation based on labour value and class conflict.
These were not minor objections. They struck at the theoretical foundations of Marxism and, in the case of Mises and Hayek, correctly predicted the chronic waste, shortages, and eventual collapse of socialist economies. History confirmed their arguments on a civilisational scale.
Yet in universities, media and political debate, these critiques remain marginal. Marx is still widely taught as a serious economist and social theorist. His errors are softened, historicised, or treated as interesting starting points. The Austrian responses are rarely given equal weight. Students can pass through entire programmes in the social sciences without encountering Böhm-Bawerk’s critique or Mises’s calculation argument in any depth.
This neglect is not accidental. It reflects a deeper intellectual preference for theories that pathologise markets and legitimise expanded state power. The result is a public discourse that continues to recycle Marxist categories long after their economic foundations were shown to be unsound. The cost of that selective memory is still being paid.
Iranian man warns that Sharia law starts with unity between the left and Islam.
Pay attention to what he’s saying. The same alliance between the left and Muslims that is taking place now in America happened decades ago in Iran. That’s how Iran became an Islamic theocracy.

Hasan Piker is evil.
Hasan Piker idolizes Chairman Mao (responsible for 50+ million Chinese deaths).
Hasan Piker is intentionally malicious. Hasan Piker has zero issues with Sharia law.

Collectivism is the most evil thing mankind has ever imposed on itself. The twentieth century proved that to be true over & over again.
Tomodachi.
Sixty-six years after Hiroshima, a massive earthquake and a giant tsunami struck Japan.
March 2011.
The U.S. Navy was there before Japan asked.
They named the operation Tomodachi. It means friend.
Twenty-four thousand American servicemen came.
The USS Ronald Reagan ran helicopters day and night off the coast.
Sendai Airport lay buried under mud, cars, shattered planes.
The Marines had aircraft landing there within five days.
The grandsons of the men who flew the Enola Gay came back with blankets and bottled water.
Japan does not inherit hatred.
Japan inherits friends.
Agreed. However, I’m past finding it entertaining. It is honestly alarming how many people cannot course correct simply because they lack the courage to tell the truth and admit they got things wrong.
Confession: I actually don’t believe most Boomer Dems want America to become a Communist country.
I think the majority are state-forward relative normies who ironically recognize that America is the best thing going.
But what they do want is power, above all else, to the point they were willing to allow Obama and The Squad into the tent for younger generations’ votes.
And they couldn’t zip the door closed in time.
So now they are forced to watch their Party be eaten alive by the DSA and radical Islamists and, even worse, pretend it’s a good thing.
Because they comically cling to the belief that the face-eating leopards will ignore their face if they pretend hard enough.
And so they feign support and grovel on the networks and social media knowing all the while it’s over, that they caused it, and at any time it will be them on the chopping block.
You can literally watch them squirm, and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t entertaining.
Only 40% of Americans vote. In local elections and primaries, it’s just 10%.
Over 95% of Muslims vote. In Dearborn alone, 98% of Muslims voted for Abdul El-Sayed.
This is why Muslims and DSA communists are being elected all over the country.
Notice a trend?

The Left’s new leaders have parents who immigrated to America.
But still hate it.
No longer hiding a goal to destroy America and the West.
Old Salty is correct. As a Citizen of the USA, your rights are granted by God. You need not believe in God to embrace this covenant. Gov exists to protect your inalienable rights, establish law and order, defend the nation, regulate interstate commerce…
The Constitution does NOT give you rights. You already have them.
The Constitution simply tells the government that it cannot take those s rights away.
I wish more people understood this.
