@VinayDokania It is not about salaries. Most of them have worked for many years and are senior. The chairman should be removed or asked to voluntarily retire. All others will stay..

@markklfc I think it is time to start a parallel Football Federation. I know so many great past players and Referees have expressed disappointment in this World Cup especially the VAR. Also Hydration break is not necessary. Takes away the momentum..

@dahlgren_linus @jb_muwonge @RealPepeEscobar But play would be more interesting..The one mm offside in the current rule seems so unfair to the attacking team..but the proposed rule even if there is a 1 mm intersection will not affect the defending team.Only if the attacker is outside of the line it is offside else it is not

So even if an mm is in line with the last but one player it should not be offside.This would be a better rule I feel..

@waqasmughalpk But the Egyptian who was in line with the attacker had moved forward. Just a moment earlier he was in between the attacker and the goalpost. Why should Iran be punished just because the Egyptian ran forward? The attacker will look for the ball or see if opponent is going forward

@otheomedeiros @jb_muwonge @RealPepeEscobar I just saw the replay on TV. The Egyptian guy ran forward which was why it became offside by a few mm. At that mmnt can plyrs look fr all tht? Had the Egyptian guy not moved forward it would not have been offside and that guy didn’t have any role other than creating the situation

@s_mossawi It is very unfortunate. It is really a very unfair decision. There was on Egyptian player in front of him.commentators never talked about that.Iran still have an outside chance. Depends on results of some other matches..

@dahlgren_linus @jb_muwonge @RealPepeEscobar Intent of the goalkeeper could be come forward so as to create an offside situation. Intent of the player could be come and stand in front of the goalkeeper if offside rule is removed.but in this case there was no such intent by either side..

@dahlgren_linus @jb_muwonge @RealPepeEscobar Those are the things experts should discuss and revisit the offside rules so that it is fair to the goal scoring team. May be thay can make some rules flexible instead of being rigid and decide on case by case basis.they can decide the intent of the playr using VAR just a thought
