Four years of feature whack-a-mole taught me you can't build developer golden paths one at a time. You need a framework where building one path makes the next one easier. So we spent 14 months rebuilding our product around that idea.

@Flightcontrolhq was the product. @Ravion is the framework.

We had set out to build an off-the-shelf developer platform, but we made the mistake of hand-crafting each workflow.

Another cloud service type meant another month or two of work, each one harder than the last. The more workflows we supported, the more unhandled edge cases users hit.

We needed a pluggable, composable system.
A framework, not more features.

A framework for platform engineers to turn IaC into developer and agent friendly interfaces. Devs can provision with 1-click, but the platform team fully controls what's provisioned.

Now new cloud services are a few lines of config, and every component we add makes the existing ones more capable.

My wife has heard me shouting with glee so often this year, because adding to our platform with the Ravion framework makes future ones easier instead of harder.

I want every platform engineer to feel that 😁

Agents often get confused setting up or debugging AWS

This week an ECS service had downtime, but the agent searched AWS and everything looked fine.
