At the Federation Cup 2026, Vishal TK ran the 400m in 44.98 seconds, becoming the second Indian to break the 45-second barrier.

Before this, India’s national record in the 400m belonged to legendary sprinter Milkha Singh. His 45.73-second record had remained a symbol of Indian athletics for years.

Now, Vishal has surpassed it and written a new chapter in India’s sprinting history.

As he crossed the finish line and broke down in tears, it felt bigger than a record — it felt like a dream India had carried for generations finally coming true.

@rohitchauhan Agree. I fall in the same camp. The way I overcome this bias is by having an exposure to momentum strategy. The time my value picks start to appear in that, I am most likely to exit. Example - BSE in 2020 was a value buy and today it is in many momentum strategies.
