So there is clear mismatch as AIS and TIS shows income of INTEREST ofmultiple year in 1 year while taxpayer has shown them on accrued basis.. kindly provide space to report such issues in AIS

Amendment to Rule 88B(1) of CGST Rules, 2017 relating to no amount of interest payable if tax deposited in cash ledger before the due date-Prospective or Retrospective

Proviso was inserted to Rule 88B(1) of CGST Rules, 2017 w.e.f. 10-07-2024 which proivded that there should not be levy of interest wherein tax has been deposited in cash ledger prior to due date of filing of return and such amount is used for payment of the outstanding liability.

Madras High Court in Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram) Ltd. vs. Additional Commissioner of Central Tax, Chennai [2025] 175 https://t.co/bQAFqN4YOZ 628 (Madras)[14-03-2025] held that aforesaid provision is clarificatory in nature and therefore the question of retrospective or prospective effect will not come into picture and therefore the question of payment of interest will not arise.
