बाढ़ प्रभावित निवासी विजय नुरेटी ने कहा, "यहां बहुत तबाही हुई है जिससे कई लोगों का नुकसान हुआ है। यहां कई घर बह गए हैं और 2 बच्चों की मृत्यु हुई है... वे लोग जान बचाकर कहीं छिपने के लिए जा रही थीं मगर वे बच नहीं पाईं, उनमें से एक 3 साल की बच्ची थी और दूसरी 6-7 महीने की... यहां लोगों को ओढ़ने के लिए कंबल, खाने के लिए राशन-पानी दिया जा रहा है..."
