The criminals are mostly from Seelampur, Shahadara, Seemapuri, Jafarabad and other muslim dominated areas of North-East and South-East delhi.

Out of 2873 criminals identified by Delhi Police, 2402 were identified using DP's special platform called crime kundli. For this software CCTV's were installed on 21st July. These identified criminals had visited Jantar Mantar on 22nd July, the day of vandalism.
