Is is that tough to run local trains on time?
Why it is not run as per time table in proper order?

Agra Cantonment station. RPF bullies drag and beat up Deputy Station Superintendent (DySS) on duty.

Incident as per preliminary info:

Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express arrived at Agra Cantt at 10.51 am and departed after its scheduled halt.

A woman passenger had deboarded the station to buy the famous sweet Petha and was trying to board the train after it had started moving. The Dy SS, noticing the situation, intervened and instructed the train manager over his walkie talkie to stop the train to ensure the passenger's safety.

The RPF personnel detained the husband and wife on allegations of alarm chain pulling (ACP), penalised them Rs 1,000.

This led to a dispute between RPF personnel and operating staff over the reason for the unscheduled halt.

The railways have set up an inquiry and will come up with a sanitised version of the incident.

दिल्ली में एक अनुमान के मुताबिक 3 से 5 हजार रोहिंग्या परिवार रहते हैं, जिनकी मौजूदगी मुख्य रूप से मदनपुर खादर, कालिंदी कुंज और शाहीन बाग जैसे इलाकों में बताई जाती है।

कुछ रिपोर्टों और शिकायतों में यह भी सामने आया है कि कुछ लोग भीड़भाड़ वाली जगहों जैसे डीटीसी बसों, मेट्रो आदि में चोरी जैसी गतिविधियों में शामिल पाए गए हैं, तथा अवैध मादक पदार्थों की सप्लाई से जुड़े मामले भी सामने आए हैं। इसके अलावा कुछ मामलों में झूठे आरोप लगाकर उगाही करने की शिकायतें भी दर्ज की गई हैं।

यदि इन मुद्दों पर समय रहते ध्यान नहीं दिया गया और प्रभावी कार्रवाई नहीं की गई, तो आने वाले वर्षों में इसके दुष्परिणाम देखने को मिल सकते हैं।

@rajtoday Every morning Sinhagad,Pragati,Deccan Queen also detains csmt bound local trains that too during peak hours. While this Ratnagiri Passenger enters into suburb during non peak hours is a trouble for this 2 faced Central Railway. Shouldn't these Intercities also be shifted to diva?

4. 12105 Vidarbha Exp ( in down peak hr)

Hi, I live in a Cooperative Housing society in Mumbai Suburbs.
We have recently installed Rooftop Solar for our Society use at terrace.
Also, 4 members from our society have installed panels for their personal use, as permitted by Byelaw of society

Now, society committee has taken Some amount as Deposit and also asking for monthly rent of installed panels, which i think is a means to discourage installation of solar panels by Individual members. Kindly help in this regard what steps we can take to encourage solar usage.

But it seems That Goods train & Pune side passengers have more weightage than Suburban users.

This is why COMPLETE corridor segregation is required in #Mumbai. CSMT-bound 12126 Pune-Mumbai Pragati Express crosses over to enter the Up Through line at Vikhroli as the sixth line on which it is travelling ends abruptly at Vidyavihar and the train needs to continue its journey ahead to Dadar & then CSMT, in the process detaining a fast suburban EMU local train. Every such crossover leads to loss of time for Express as well as suburban trains, which get lined up adding to the delay domino effect. #Mumbai #MumbaiRailway

Trn no. 12141 ex LTT (15.02.24) departed rt time ex Mumbai, now it is running late by + 11 hours & at every other station, being taken in loop to give priority to other trains, making it further late.
Is it that difficult to maintain punctuality?
