I actually watched this whole episode.

As expected, this wasn't a comedy, not even a proper political satire. But the usual RW bashing passed off as comedy.

Be that as it may, I had thought that over last 10+ years, our so called liberals (Varun Grover in this case) would've at least somewhat understood what drives the RW in India. Why people vote for Modi ji.

But I was wrong! These people are still as clueless as they were in 2014. They did not know why Modi ji won in 2014, they still don't know why Modi ji wins in 2026.

Their thinking has not evolved. They've not learned.

They've this preconcieved notion about who's RW, how he thinks and what drives him. And they are still trying to force-fit the reality around them into these caricatures.

There is absolute lack of effort or enthusiasm or intellect to understand the 'other' side. But I guess if they do so, it will make them uncomfortable because they might start questioning their core beliefs, their very cause of existence.

Therefore, a caricatured, hackeneyed, dumb, neanderthal image of a RW person suits them just fine.

Mahindra has been making vehicles since 1947. Tata has been making vehicles since 1954.

All they have managed in 7 decades are these ugly, on-steriods looking pieces of poor engineering that are artificially puffed up to look big and strong but are quite hollow in technology. These manufacturers have hardly invested in R&D and mostly copy designs of other auto brands, making a mess.

Take Indian manufacturers in any industry, the ailment is the same. Most have focused on making profits, not great products. Some have bought out international brands to somehow earn respect, but own manufacturing is just way below global standards.

I used to support BJP. Not really support, but I did vote for it, like many others, because we genuinely thought amidst all that religious noise.. that maybe, they really had their hearts in the right place for India and it's citizens.

Over the course of many months, I have realized that this might not be the case.
They have become one of the most arrogant and vile politicians who would not listen to the citizens and instead label them as a "lobby" for anything.. like the E20 issue or the 10-15 end of life car issue..
The way they talk, it seems they do not consider normal citizens as humans.
They talk about smart cities.. where are the smart cities? Have they seen the condition of these cities?
The toilets they publicized - most of them remain shut or too dirty.
The freebies to win elections have skyrocketed.
There is double, triple indirect taxations on already taxed money.
Religious, regional, language tensions are at an all time high.
Their own children study outside India, own factories- while we slog day and night to keep up and do some savings.
The anti-corruption they talk about- they should look at their own homes and their officers and they would know, the whole India knows, where the real black money is stored.
There are thousands of issues- but all we see are photo-ops and arrogance.
The local MLAs, MPs do not even visit, because they know vote is going to Modi ji.

Happy Birthday, Lalu Yadav, the visionary who never got due credit for transforming Bihar :

1. He kept Bihar's air clean by driving away industries.

2. He didn’t create jobs in Bihar, thus giving people the chance to migrate, explore life, meet others from different languages, cultures, and beliefs, and thereby promoted unity in diversity.

3. He didn’t develop roads, forcing people to drive slowly and avoid accidents. He didn’t provide power supply, saving people from huge electricity bills. He didn’t improve public transport, encouraging people to walk or cycle and stay fit.

4. He promoted personal hygiene by urging people to shave their armpit hair, with the iconic slogan: “Bhura baal saaf karo.”

5. He opposed the Macaulay-style English education system forced upon us by neglecting govt schools. By allowing mass cheating, he promoted true equality for all.

6. He was a flagbearer of women empowerment. He even made a woman the CM of Bihar. Only haters will say it was because he was going to jail and wanted to keep the CM chair within the family, so he handed it to his wife.

7. While govts around the world are destroying jungles for development, Lalu ji established Jungle Raj right within the state.

8. He cared deeply for animals, so much so that he arranged crores worth of fodder for them, whether they existed or not. Who else thinks about imaginary cows?

9. He promoted family values by treating politics as a joint family venture, distributing tickets like Diwali gifts and ensuring everyone had a seat at the table, preferably in the Assembly.

10. He protected Bihar from the harmful effects of globalization by ensuring the state stayed stuck in the 1970s.

History will be kind to Lalu ji.
