AI bubble co Nvidia has added an additional section to its off-balance sheet obligations - $108.5 billion in guarantees.

Like parents co-signing a lease, $NVDA has to guarantee its customers obligations in order to book sales.

Total obligations now stand at a record $530.5 BILLION.
Total cash on the balance sheet: $22.4 billion.

It is simply impossible for Nvidia to pay its bills when they come due.

📈 Buying stocks: the "window" 🔳 beats the "time" ⏰(most of the time)

I prefer the Pareto approach to everything in life.
Life is too short, so I want to spend 20% of the time and effort for 80% of the results.
If I can spend 15-60 minutes trading for 80% of the results, I will take that over 10-12 hours to get the last 20%.

1) Freedom
Most people try to learn trading for financial and time freedom: no boss, just "clicking a few buttons a few minutes a day from their phone" before either "living the high life" or spending more time with loved ones.
Few people think, "I will swap my current 8-12-hour job for sitting in front of a bunch of monitors 8-12 hours watching prices tick up/down instead."

You can always make money. You cannot buy time or health!

2) Think about who buys when... 🤔💭
Day traders and scalpers are done by 11am, swing traders are positioned by 3:30pm, so whoever is still bidding into the close is most likely institutional. A stock closing strong is a stock being accumulated.

3) This is swing trading
Download all your trades for the last 12 months and identify your biggest winners.
Did it REALLY make a big difference if you bought at the exact time you did, or was the "window" of days when you bought more important?
If you had bought the same stock on the same day BUT at the end of the day, how much difference would it have made to those big winners?

End-of-day or intraday, the right stocks will just go higher after you buy them and cause you little stress.

5) The biggest moves in stocks are overnight, not intraday.
Across S&P 500 stocks from 2000 to 2022, cumulative overnight returns massively exceed cumulative intraday returns.
The gap averages 2.75 basis points per day, which works out at roughly 7.2% per year.
Intraday returns over that period were negative or flat.

Note the allocation/entries at the top of each chart. These weren't single fills, they were positions built across multiple days and bought at close.

Sticking to leading stocks with rapidly growing sales/earnings in leading groups, while the market is trending upward, is FAR more important than the precise intraday entry price or time of day.

Your goal is simple (if not easy!):
- Is the market healthy (price > MA10/20/50/200, etc.)?
- What are the leading industry groups (look at RS)?
- What stocks are the leaders in those strong groups (again, RS)? Do they have growing sales/earnings?
- Is there a setup in those stocks with favorable reward-to-risk?
- Work out where you will get out if you are wrong, and never move that downward.
- When you find a winner, stay with it as long as possible, using a close below MA20/50 etc. as the exit signal. The big winners will pay for the small losses.

Notice that the time of day isn't mentioned in those points ... to me, that resides in the 80% extra effort for that final 20% reward. If you want it ... go get it!
