I really don't understand why generative AI is so normalised now, it takes away from creation and pride in your work, i will never support generative AI.
then why become an author? no one's forcing you to write your ideas and turn them into a book. you can just let them live in your head if you're not willing to put in the effort into writing🙄
For what it's worth - I believe that if you use AI to brainstorm ideas for your book, plan chapters, help with structure, edit, create dialogue, make story suggestions or ANY part of the creative writing process you are a hack and a fraud. You are not an author.
