Honored to share that I’ve officially started as an Assistant Professor at my home institution @UTHradiology and I survived my first shift last night 😂
I started medical school in September 2008. It took 18 years of school and training to get here!
Surreal!!
اللهم لك الحمد كما ينبغي لعظيم وجهك و جلال سلطانك ♥️
Thrilled that two of our educational exhibits won the magna cum laude and CoM at #RSNA2023! I'm grateful to my mentors and co-authors who made this possible. I'd like to share some insights that may help others in #MedEd projects, focusing on the visual storytelling aspect 🧵
Extremely happy to win the Sam Harris Travel Bursary at the 29th IAPD Congress for my poster presentation.
Million thanks to my dear Professor and mentor Dr.@MahaElTantawi
I am very proud!
After all he’s been through, all the sleepless nights and struggles.
I can now say hard work pays off.

(5) Just waiting for the next Monday’s email is a privilege and a phase I am really proud I have reached.
I think I had a great “virtual” season, met a lot of great people, and interviewed at places I was only dreaming about!
I am so excited to face the next challenge ✌️🏽
(4) I am very grateful to everyone who stood by my side to be able to reach this milestone by certifying my ROL!
Thankful to every selection committee that reviewed my application, every program co-ordinator who took the time to email me whether by acceptance or rejection!
(3) I was lucky to fall into the hands of the right mentors. They guided me through those tough days, paved the path, and torched it, and I can’t wait till I can repay them by helping others and continue the circle of kindness and success.
(2) I had 3 amazing years with ups and downs, more experience, a solid CV, and most importantly; lots of friends.
Started here with no USMLE exams and no publications.
(1) Next week I will complete 3 years since my plane landed in Houston!
Hopefully, it will also mark the day I match. I left my job as a radiology resident in my home city to pursue a career in the US starting as a radiology research fellow. #MedTwitter#Match2021#MatchDay
