@epekeina0 i guarantee that every problem you have with Catholicism would still exist in some other context if you weren’t catholic. all of what you’re saying sounds like you’re just a misanthrope and you’re gonna be one whether you’re catholic or not

catholics have to stop caring about this, we don’t rush to explain ourselves when a muslim or jew says its blasphemy to call Jesus God, because we know they wont accept it until they believe in the gospel. Same principle here. you either get it or you don’t.
What's more blasphemous, a picture implying you have supernatural healing powers, or a prayer to Mary in the middle of a prayer to the Holy Trinity?

“One of [Pope St. Pius X’s] last acts was to reject a request from the Emperor of Austria, shortly after World War I broke out, that he bless the Austrian cause. The pope replied caustically: ‘I do not bless war: I bless peace.’” https://t.co/mvn59nm8jb
Can we truly start our lives over again? Yes! The Lord’s response, so full of love, fills our hearts with hope. No matter how weighed down we are by pain or sin: the crucified One carries all these burdens with us and for us. No matter how discouraged we are by our own weaknesses: it is precisely then that God manifests His strength, the God who has raised Christ from the dead in order to give life to the world. Each one of us can experience the freedom of new life that comes from faith in the Redeemer. #ApostolicJourney #Algeria https://t.co/jXvstS86NB
@madcowpanzer I mean, he's saying it in Algeria and not Europe, I think he's just trying to promote peaceful co-existence for the Christians in Muslim-ruled countries. He's saying this while also publicly honoring Algerian martyrs killed by Muslims
@jardiniernormie So why do you feel like the pope speaking out against killing and death threats is an insult to your father? I thought a soldier was one with a duty to protect and serve and not just be a killing machine
