@nofnetwork@MikeTriplett@BobbyHebertsCC We also get drawn into saying they’d have def beaten the eagles or pats if given the chance about these but I’ve little doubt these would have been true to Saints playoff form games that hinged on a late play here or there and could have gone either way
@nofnetwork@MikeTriplett@BobbyHebertsCC Shouldn’t have been 17-0 down to start with in Minnesota that was just like SF 2011 the Saints came out cold- offensive performance wasn’t good enough in 2018 Rams game but the call was desolate- shame they were never great enough to have it won before the late 4th quarter
@farrah_yvette despite the heartbreak and injustice we have to admit that the 2011 defense just wasn’t good enough for a championship and the 2018 offense was also not quite good enough to elevate beyond circumstances, there’s value in having balance which 2009 team had and SEA this year
@JeffDuncan_@FreakyPeezy Does everyone know something about Kamara that I don’t? We’ve got AK, Miller, Neal, Estime…all of which have shown promising play in the limited time they had- given the lack of value with the position surely this is not such a massive need to dictate a forced draft/FA strategy
@nick_underhill What’s going on with Alvin Kamara? Is he retiring,? was he even placed on IR, is he possibly part of future plans- where is his head/motivation at- need to work it out ahead of the draft with Love an option at 8 and young players already on the roster developing at RB ??
@nick_underhill Much credit for the majority of moves and a fantastic draft class but Radunz is not good and although he’s had to step in we need more quality at guard than he’s been able to produce
Fortner on other hand much needed and competent back up plan for McCoy who I’d love to see back
@JT25Saints I get it and won’t be rooting to be swept by Atlanta but the consolation if it happens is nice so a total win win- just want to win this embarrassing division next season more than I care about beating falcons in one game which I’ve enjoyed countless times and will again & again
@FreakyPeezy It’s a win win basically but losing a close one with another clean game by Shough and getting the 2026 games vs Raiders, Cards and giants instead of chiefs/chargers, Seahawks/rams, cowboys/conmanders is long term preferable
Also denies the buc scum another consecutive div title
@JonoBarnes Clearly Shough being good and beating the Falcons is preferential but if he’s not and we continue to lose getting a necessary top 3 draft round position is nice consolation
I personally couldn’t believe the Panthers were 5-4 heading into this last game- shows the margins r thin
@SaintsForecast Bang on- Kubiak was an excellent OC but given Allen was such a horrendous HC (v good DC) was collateral damage of his inevitable collapse, bad timing sadly. I think the current team should be getting more out of a relatively talented and healthy offense, defense devoid of talent
@tracegirouard48 Not sure what they should do going forward- maybe give Rattler one more chance here because he’s is the more developed NFL quarterback but they also meed to see 4/5 games of Shough to know what they’ve got there too
@MarshallGreen_ Agree and important to point out, Schoen has been a terrible evaluator and roster builder quite a bit worse than his predecessor. However Daboll looks out of his depth as a HC so both should and will be sacked asap to allow a fresh analysis of what they’ve got pre new regime
@SkySportsGolf Still to be determined for me due to him going missing a bit during the summer- It’s either this year or 2014 in which he won back to back Majors and a WGC then won home Ryder Cup- if Europe win it this year 2025 will be his greatest year
@Kat_Terrell No depth whatsoever- if they accumulate injuries like recent seasons this years record is falling off a cliff which all things considered may not be a bad thing. Stay healthy however and get Taysom back sooner rather than later and may surprise with a run in the division #Saints
