My ten year old showed me his yearbook yesterday and in the back was a page of the 5th grade favorite quotes. His said, ‘I was born for a reason and that reason is to be myself.’

And in a moment I knew deep down that at least one of my generational curses had been broken.

My 16 yo attended a workshop at his HS yesterday. It was a program started by the father of a Columbine victim. He came to me last night and said, ‘Mom, how do I become a better person?’ I pretty much think that single question can change your life if asked regularly.

@wfaa I live in Frisco and this infuriates me. I have seen people posting in restaurants, movie theaters, etc. I HATE that this is how the city I live in is handling this crisis. City of Frisco may make this choice but me and my friends are hunkered down indoors being responsible
