Oh, and the soundtrack was solid, especially the big fights and Eikon fights!
All in all, first mainline FF game that I really enjoyed since FF9, which came out in… 2001? 2000?
Finished FFXVI last night:
- Solid action game.
- Side quests were very bland and tedious.
- Voice acting is actually good! Dialogue is well written. Fewer anime grunts.
- Story is solid.
- Universe is nice and dark. Cursing and “nudity.”
- Eikon fights are AMAZING
8/10
Those of you playing Diablo 4:
Thoughts? I’m a HUGE Diablo 2 fan and really got bored with Diablo 3. Is D4 great for someone who loves D2?
I want to play games that are fun and not just a giant time sponge. Tharnks!
My only real complaint about FFXVI is that it’s REALLY fetch-questy. Even the main quests.
I find myself stopping when I have to “gather five thingies because nobody else can.” 😑
So, I've been doing some YouTube research on data backups, and for offsite NAS backup services, I've come across Synology C2, iDrive, and BackBlaze.
BackBlaze seems like the most affordable and feature-rich. Any techie nerds out there have some thoughts?
@mrjohndye My business, which has something to do with music. Want to have backups that are reliable. Backblaze is what I'm leaning towards for the cloud-based backup
