زۆر خۆشحاڵم ئەمڕۆ كۆتا هه‌نگاوى يه‌كگرتنه‌وه‌ى هێزه‌كانى پێشمه‌رگه‌ و دەستبەکاربوونی فەرماندەییی یەک و دووی هێزی پێشمەرگەی کوردستانمان ڕاگەیاند. بەم هەنگاوە گرنگە، ئیتر هیچ هێزێک لە دەرەوەی پەیکەری وەزارەتی کاروباری پێشمەرگەدا نامێنێتەوە.

ئەم بۆنەیە هاوکاتە لەگەڵ یادی چوار ساڵەی ئیمزاکردنی یاداشتی لێکگەیشتنی وەزارەتی کاروباری پێشمەرگە و وەزارەتی بەرگریی ئەمه‌ریکا کە چوار ساڵ پێشتر لە ڕۆژێکی وەک ئەمڕۆدا، ٢١ی ئەیلوولی ٢٠٢٢ ئیمزا کرا. سوپاسى پشتگيرى و هاوكاريى‌ به‌رده‌واميان ده‌كه‌م بۆ ئەم پرۆسەیە و بۆ یارمەتیدانی هەرێمی كوردستان و عێراق بەتایبەتی لە جەنگی دژی تیرۆرستانی داعشدا.

بەردەوامیی ئەم هەوڵانەش دەگەڕێتەوە بۆ ساڵی ٢٠١٦ کاتێک له‌سه‌ر ده‌ستى جه‌نابى سەرۆک مەسعوود بارزانی پرۆسەی چاکسازی لە وەزارەتی پێشمەرگە دەستی پێ کرد.

ئه‌وه‌ له‌ كاتێكدا بوو كه‌ پێشمه‌رگه‌ له‌ژێر فه‌رمانده‌ييى جه‌نابى سه‌رۆكدا ئه‌فسانه‌ى داعشيان تێكده‌شكاند، وه‌ك چۆن پێشتريش ساڵى ٢٠١٤‌ هەر بە فه‌رمانى جه‌نابيان پێشمه‌رگه‌ چوونه‌ كۆبانێ تاكوو به‌رگریى لێ بكه‌ن و لاپه‌ڕه‌يه‌كى گه‌شيان له‌ مێژووى گه‌لى كوردستان بۆ بەرگریكردن تۆمار كرد. بۆیە ئەمە بۆنەیەکە گەلی کوردستان ماوەیەکی درێژە چاوەڕێی دەکات و ساڵانێکی زۆر لەپێناویدا هەموو لایەكمان کارمان کردووە.

ئەمە تەنیا گۆڕانکارییەک لە پەیکەر و ڕێکخستندا، یان تەنیا گواستنەوەی یەکەکان لە پێکهاتەیەکەوە بۆ پێکهاتەیەکی تر نییە، بەڵکوو هەنگاوێکی نیشتمانیی گەورەیە لە کاروانی بنیاتنانی دامەزراوەکانی هەرێمی کوردستاندا.

ساڵانی ڕابردوو بەردەوام گوتوومانە: کوردستان پێویستی بە یەک هێز، یەک وەزارەت و یەک فەرماندەیییە. گوتوومانە: دەبێت پێشمەرگە هێزێکی نیشتمانیی دوور لە دەستتێوەردان و ناکۆکيی حزبی بێت. ئەمڕۆش، هەنگاوێکی گەورە بەرەو بەدیهێنانی ئەم ئامانجە دەنێین.

کاتێک مەترسی لەسەر کوردستان دروست بوو، جیاوازی لەنێوان پێشمەرگەیەک و پێشمەرگەیەکی تر، ناوچەیەک و ناوچەیەکی تردا نەبوو. لە سەختترین کاتەکاندا، پێشمەرگە لە یەک سەنگەردا وەستاون، پێکەوە قوربانییان داوە و خوێنیان لەپێناو پاراستنی یەک خاک و یەک گەلدا تێکەڵ بووە. ئەوەی لە گۆڕەپانەکانی جەنگدا پێشمەرگەی یەکخست، ئەمڕۆ پێویستە لە دامەزراوە، فەرماندەیی و بڕیاریشدا یەکیان بخات.

پێشمەرگە خاوه‌ن مێژوويه‌كى پرشنگداره‌. بۆیە ئەمڕۆ ئێمە ئەم مێژووە و سەرجەم ئەم قوربانیدانە لەناو یەک دامەزراوەی نیشتمانیدا کۆ دەکەینەوە. مێژوویەک کە چەندین نەوەی پێشمەرگە دروستیان کردووە، دەکەینە هێزێکی یەکگرتوو بۆ پاراستنی داهاتووی کوردستان. باشترین وەفاداریيش بۆ شەهیدانمان ئەوەیە قوربانیدانی ئەوان بکەینە بنەمای پێکەوەیی و یەکڕیزیی ناوخۆمان.

یەکخستنی هێزەکانی پێشمەرگە کۆتاییی ئەم پرۆسەیە نییە، بەڵکوو دەستپێکی قۆناغێکی نوێیە کە ڕەنگە سەختتریش بێت. لەمڕۆ بەدواوە، پێویستە ئەم یەکڕیزییە لە هەموو شتێکدا ڕەنگ بداتەوە: لە فەرماندەیی و سەرکردایەتیدا، لە بڕیار و فەرماندا، لە مەشق و ڕێکخستندا، لە ماف و ئەرکدا، لە پلەبەرزکردنەوە و لە بڕوای سەربازی و دیسپلیندا.

پێویستە بۆ هەمووان ڕوون بێت کە دامەزراوەی سەربازی نابێتە گۆڕەپانی ململانێی سیاسی. حزبەکان لە هەڵبژاردندا کێبڕکێ دەکەن، جیاوازی لە بەرنامە، دیدگا و هەڵوێستیاندا دەبێت، ئەمە لە هەر سیستەمێکی دیموکراسیدا شتێکی زۆر ئاسایییە. بەڵام پێشمەرگە پێویستە لە سەرووی کێبڕکێی حزبی بمێنێتەوە، چونکە هێزی حزبی نییە، بەڵکوو هێزی کوردستانییە.

بۆیە گەورەترین خزمەت کە ئەمڕۆ پێشکەش بە پێشمەرگەی بکەین ئەوەیە ڕێز لە دامەزراوەکەی بگیرێت، تاکوو ئەرکە پیشەیی و نیشتمانییەکانی خۆی بەبێ دەستتێوەردانی سیاسی و حزبی جێبەجێ بکات.

سەرکەوتنی ڕاستەقینەی یەکگرتنەوە بە ژمارەی ئەو یەکانە حساب ناكرێت کە خراونەتە ژێر چەتری وەزارەتەوە، بەڵکوو بەوە حساب دەكرێت کە هەر پێشمەرگەیەک هەست بکات دامەزراوەکەی وەزارەتی کاروباری پێشمەرگەیە، سەرکردایەتییەکەی فەرماندەییی سەربازییەکەیەتی و هاوسەنگەرەکەی لە هەمان یەکەدا برای ئەرکیەتی، بێ گوێدانە ئەوەی سەر بە کام لایەنە، یان خەڵکی کام ناوچەیە.

ئەمەیە ئەو پێشمەرگەیەی گەلی کوردستان دەيەوێت: پێشمەرگەیەکی پیشەیی، ڕێکخراو، هاوچەرخ، باش ڕاهێنراو و پڕچەککراو کە وابەستەی یاسا و دامەزراوەکان بێت، جێی متمانەی گەلەکەی و جێی ڕێزی دۆستەکانی بێت.

The Peshmerga is more than a military force. It is a symbol of the struggle, sacrifice and identity of the people of Kurdistan.

Today is a historic day for Kurdistan and the Peshmerga; the process of unifying and reorganizing the Peshmerga forces has been successfully completed.

This unification is the first step of a long process, and the next phase is even more important. It must focus on strengthening military capabilities, providing advanced weapons and air defense systems, developing competencies, and comprehensively advancing the Peshmerga forces.

The KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani described the unification of the Peshmerga forces as a historic achievement and emphasized that the next phase must focus on strengthening their military capabilities, providing advanced weapons and air defence systems, and further developing the Peshmerga as a professional, organized and unified national force.

PM Barzani also said: “we reaffirm our readiness and support for Federal Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Ali al-Zaidi, in strengthening cooperation between the Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi Army.”

He added “We hope the [Iraqi] federal government will cooperate with and support us in safeguarding the rights of the Peshmerga and ensuring that their salaries and financial entitlements are equal to those of their counterparts in the Iraqi Army, with the same rights. Under the Constitution, the Peshmerga is part of Iraq’s defence system, and its constitutional rights and financial entitlements must be guaranteed within this framework.”

stop your thugs from raining drones and missiles on our cities and then have the audacity to ask for respect.

I wouldn’t attack celeberation or flags myself. But I understand people who do. PMF are part of Iraqi forces. They get paid by Iraq and according to the goverment, they act under it’s instructions.

Dozens of drones every day and you want people to act like nothing is happening. Just today, multiple drones from Iraqi forces attacked civilian factories in KRG. So yeh, your rage might be better directed to your fellow millitias.

Who are we? Let me tell you, America! We are the Kurds you betrayed in Rojava, north-east Syria, your anti-ISIS coalition partners. You sold us to Turkey in 2018, which annexed our Kurdish city of Afrin for allied jihadist factions. Then again in 2019, when our cities of Sere Kaniye and Gire Spi were handed over to Turkey for “security concerns,” even though not a single bullet from Rojava had been fired toward Turkey. And once more in 2026, when you handed us over to the former ISIS and al-Qaeda Syrian regime under the extreme hardliner al-Jolani. Thousands of us were massacred, ethnically cleansed, hunted street by street. Our women fighters were beheaded, their braids cut as war trophies by jihadist men.

We are the Kurds you betrayed in Basur, northern Iraq, who held a popular referendum in 2017, winning by 92% to separate from Iraq, a country that had ethnically cleansed and murdered us for years, only for our freedom to be denied. The Iraqi central government, encouraged by your condemnation of our referendum, attacked us and forcibly took over our Kurdish city of Kirkuk. Our peshmerga forces were run over by Iraqi tanks. Even now, Iraqi forces continue forcing Kurds out of their homes, as they have since the 1960s, because the city is oil-rich.

We are the same Kurds in northern Iraq whom you urged to stand up against the Saddam regime in 1991, only to abandon us when we rose up. We were massacred, and 2 million of us were displaced. You were shamed into Operation “Provide Comfort,” but only after thousands of us had already been killed following your call to rise.

We are the Kurds in Bakur, western Turkey whose lives and bodies have been sacrificed because of your economic and military ties to Turkey- your NATO allies who built a jihadi corridor and openly supports ISIS, al-Qaeda and al-Nusra.

We are the same Kurds in Rojhilat whom you betrayed during the 1975 Algiers Agreement. The Kurdish uprising collapsed overnight; tens of thousands were displaced. Iraqi forces launched severe reprisals—those who witnessed what had happened to our fellow Kurds in Basur and Rojava now refuse to be your foot soldiers.
We know who you are, America.

But it’s no wonder- despite this long and painful history of betrayal- that YOU still don’t know who we are. The oppressed carry the memory of every wound, but the oppressor forgets the scars it has inflicted.
