@KPexil @earlmaxxing But burning literal children was the least ideal outcome. She was testing him bc his job requires discretion and cunning but a lot of kids died. As they said, it’s not like it was out of malice bc otherwise their interactions afterwards would’ve been much different

@KPexil @earlmaxxing Tbf, Ciel was supposed to save kidnapped victims and reported that they all died in a fire instead with Grey and Phipps watching the burning as well. I think her suspicion wasn’t unfounded, but also Charles Grey just doesn’t like Ciel was wanted to “put him in his place”
