The DIG commended the Ondo State Government for its sustained support to security agencies, noting that the collaboration between the state and the Police has continued to yield positive results.
We remain committed to strengthening partnerships with security agencies and leveraging technology and intelligence-driven strategies to ensure the safety and security of all residents of Ondo State.
Yesterday, I joined other distinguished guests in Ile-Oluji to celebrate a remarkable milestone, the 10th Coronation Anniversary of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Olufaderin Oluwole Adetimehin Jimoko II, the 31st Jegun Olu-Ekun and Paramount Ruler of Ile-Oluji Kingdom.

Today, as we commemorate Democracy Day, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating our collective journey towards democratic governance and national development.
June 12 remains a defining moment in our nation's history, symbolising the resilience, courage, and aspirations of the Nigerian people for a united, peaceful, and prosperous country.
As we reflect on the sacrifices of those who fought for democracy, let us renew our commitment to the ideals of good governance, justice, unity, and responsible citizenship.
I urge us all to continue to support efforts aimed at building a stronger nation where peace, progress, and shared prosperity thrive.
Happy Democracy Day.
Among my engagements on Sunday was the 60th Birthday Thanksgiving Service and Investiture of Lace Superior Elder Sister Mercy Daudu as Iya Eso of the Celestial Church of Christ, Agunloye Cathedral, Akure.
The occasion, which also coincided with the church's Juvenile Harvest Celebration, was a remarkable gathering of faith, gratitude, and service to God.
I congratulate Lace Superior Elder Sister Mercy Daudu on this well-deserved recognition and pray that God grants her greater wisdom, strength, and grace to excel in her new spiritual responsibility.
As we pray for the speedy release of the children in captivity, I commend the leadership and members of the church for their commitment to nurturing the younger generation in the fear of God through the Juvenile Harvest Celebration.
May this milestone inspire continued unity, love, and selfless service within the body of Christ and our society at large.
Yesterday, I joined family, friends, and associates to celebrate the 50th birthday of Mr Olufemi Olafunmiloye, MD/CEO of @LafbartL, Akure.
The occasion also featured the unveiling of innovative automobile products by Lafbart, including a tricycle and an off-road patrol vehicle, both proudly manufactured with about 65% local content.
I commend Mr Olafunmiloye for his commitment to innovation, indigenous technology, and enterprise development. His achievements demonstrate the immense potential of local ingenuity in driving economic growth and industrial advancement.
I congratulate him on this remarkable milestone and wish him many more years of good health, fulfilment, and groundbreaking innovations.
Yesterday, I represented Governor @LuckyAiyedatiwa at the retirement ceremony held in honour of the immediate past Head of Service of Ondo State, Mr Bayo Philips.
During his tenure, Mr Philips distinguished himself through visionary leadership and a commitment to strengthening the public service. He championed several reforms aimed at improving the welfare and working conditions of civil servants and successfully oversaw the recruitment of more than 3,000 officers across various cadres into the state civil service.
As he bows out of active service, I congratulate this accomplished administrator and proud son of Ilaje on a remarkable career marked by dedication, excellence and impactful service to Ondo State. I wish him a fulfilling and rewarding retirement.
I also congratulate his successor, Chief Segun Odusanya, a seasoned bureaucrat whose wealth of experience and professionalism position him well to build on the solid foundation laid by his predecessor and take the state public service to even greater heights.
June is here.
A new month presents another opportunity to strive, grow, and make meaningful progress.
May the days ahead be fruitful, rewarding, and filled with reasons to be grateful.
Wishing you a peaceful and prosperous June.
On this special occasion of his 66th birthday, I join family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating a distinguished leader, administrator and statesman, His Excellency, @DapoAbiodunCON, Governor of Ogun State.
Mr Governor, may God grant you continued strength, wisdom, sound health, and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
Happy Birthday, Your Excellency.
On this blessed occasion of Eid-el-Adha, I join families and communities in celebrating a season that reminds us of the enduring virtues of obedience, selflessness and love for one another.
May this celebration bring renewed hope, happiness and countless blessings to every home.
Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful.
Yesterday, I paid my last respects to my dear brother and friend, Pastor James Ajibola Adaramoye, at the RCCG Destiny Sanctuary, Egbeda, Lagos.
Pastor Adaramoye was not just a devout Christian leader; he was a man of courage, excellence and valour, whose life was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
Until he breathed his last, he remained committed to caring for the needy and uplifting the downtrodden in society.
It is my prayer that the good Lord grants him eternal rest and gives his family the strength to continue his legacy of selflessness and compassion.
In our collective quest to ensure that Nigeria continues on the path of economic progress and inclusive development as envisioned under the #RenewedHope agenda, I joined other party faithful today in re-electing President @officialABAT, GCFR, as the presidential candidate of our great party, the @OfficialAPCNg.
The impressive turnout of party members across wards in Owo Local Government Area reflects the widespread support and confidence our people have in Mr President’s leadership and vision for the nation.
The enthusiasm, unity and commitment displayed by our members further reinforce the belief that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the preferred choice of the people and will continue to enjoy overwhelming support as we move towards the 2027 general election.
Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting the Ondo State School for the Visually Impaired, Owo, where I interacted with the students and dedicated members of staff of the institution.
It was both inspiring and heartwarming to witness the resilience, talent and determination of these exceptional children. Their abilities and aspirations remind us that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive, irrespective of challenges.
As someone deeply passionate about skills acquisition and empowerment, I am pleased to announce my decision, in my private capacity, to fully sponsor the establishment of a Music Department in the school. I believe that equipping these students with musical and vocational skills will not only nurture their talents but also strengthen their confidence and prepare them for a future of self-reliance and meaningful contributions to society.
I also commend the management of the school for maintaining a clean and conducive learning environment despite existing challenges. I appreciate the efforts of our Governor, His Excellency @LuckyAiyedatiwa, for the timely release of grants which continue to support the effective running of the institution.
The future of our children remains a shared responsibility, and I remain committed to supporting initiatives that create opportunities and improve their welfare.
Today, I joined family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers at the thanksgiving service and celebration of life held in honour of the late Oloba of Obaile kingdom, His Majesty, Oba Joseph Oluwadare Agunbiade Otutubiosun III, marking one year since his transition.
I attended the service in honour of my Chief of Protocol, Prince Kehinde Agunbiade, whose dedication, loyalty, and commitment to duty in my office have remained commendable.
Moments such as this remind us of the enduring value of family, faith, service, and the legacies we leave behind. I pray that Almighty God continues to grant Prince Kehinde Agunbiade and the entire Agunbiade family strength, comfort, and peace, while the soul of His Majesty, Oba Joseph Oluwadare Agunbiade Otutubiosun III, continues to rest in perfect peace.
Today, I visited the Government Technical College, Owo, where I interacted with students and members of staff of the institution. It was inspiring to see young people embracing technical and vocational education with passion and determination.
I was particularly encouraged by the feedback from the school management on the impact of the scholarship support I extended to 100 students of the college. Knowing that many of these students are able to remain in school despite prevailing economic challenges is both humbling and motivating.
I encouraged the students not to see vocational education as inferior to any other academic path, as technical skills remain critical to personal empowerment and national development in today’s evolving world.
I urge all stakeholders to intensify advocacy efforts in support of the commitment of both the federal government and Ondo state government to promoting technical and vocational education for the benefit of our young people and society at large.
It is with profound respect and admiration that I celebrate a distinguished elder statesman, iconic progressive, and revered leader, Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, CFR, OFR, on the joyous occasion of his 100th birthday.
Baba Fasoranti’s century-long journey reflects an enduring legacy of courage, sacrifice, patriotism, and purposeful leadership. His contributions to the democratic evolution of Nigeria, the advancement of progressive ideals, and the creation and development of Ondo state remain an invaluable chapter in our collective history.
As a leader of Afenifere and one of the most respected voices in national discourse, Baba has continued to exemplify wisdom, humility, discipline, and commitment to justice. His steadfast devotion to the welfare of the people and the preservation of the Omoluabi ethos has earned him honour across generations.
At one hundred, Baba remains a source of inspiration, pride, and moral guidance to our state, the Yoruba nation, and Nigeria at large.
On behalf of my family, I pray that Almighty God continues to uphold him with sound health, peace, strength, and divine grace in the years ahead.
Happy Centenary Celebration, Baba.
Yesterday, I was honoured to be present at the formal inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Akure, where Governor @LuckyAiyedatiwa unveiled a structured, statewide mobilisation platform to drive coordinated grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The initiative reflects a clear transition from vision to organised action, positioning ambassadors across all local government areas as frontline communicators of the Renewed Hope Agenda of @officialABAT, with its focus on reform, continuity and sustainable development.
The event also reinforced the strong alignment between federal and state leadership in advancing policies that are already yielding tangible results across critical sectors.
As we continue to deepen engagement at the grassroots, the emphasis remains on disciplined organisation, credible communication and inclusive participation, all geared towards consolidating progress and securing a stronger future for our people by ensuring that Mr President stays in office beyond 2027.
Today, I celebrate every hardworking and dedicated worker, especially those serving in the Ondo State Government.
Indeed, you are the driving force behind the implementation of the 'Our Ease' development agenda.
Your commitment, diligence, and integrity continue to move our state forward, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
Thank you for your unwavering support and cooperation with this administration.
On Friday, I had the honour of representing His Excellency, Governor @LuckyAiyedatiwa, at the 90th anniversary celebration of @British_Airways' operations in Nigeria, held at the residence of the British Deputy High Commissioner in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The occasion was a fitting tribute to nine decades of excellence, resilience and innovation in global aviation. It was also a moment to reflect on the critical role aviation plays in connecting people, driving economic growth and expanding opportunities across borders.
Congratulations to British Airways on this remarkable milestone. We look forward to even greater achievements in the years ahead.
