Magic Johnson says Dwyane Wade is the greatest, most unselfish superstar in NBA history after the Heat won in 2013:
Magic: You are now one of the greatest winners and champions, but to me you’re the greatest, most unselfish superstar that’s ever played in this game. How do you decide when you recruit LeBron as the face of the franchise, you’re one of the two best players in the league. You and Kobe were dominating the league at that time. Then you take a step back and say ‘it’s your team.’ how did you do that?
Wade: One of the hardest things I had to do. I remember watching the finals in 2010, Lakers vs Celtics. I remember watching Kobe running after the ball for his 5th championship. I said ‘I want that! I want that again!’ I’m a hater because I was mad that he had 5… I knew I’d have to take a step back. It’s not easy but I wanted to win.
Dwyane Wade says the finals vs OKC was the last year he felt he was in his prime:
“After we beat OKC in the finals in 2012, that summer I got my 3rd knee surgery after that I felt I never got back my explosion…. When I was driving to the bucket I could see I couldn’t take off like I used too… after that I was just good enough”

Brian Windhorst believes Giannis WANTS to be in Miami:
“The team to watch here is Miami. Miami would say ‘we got Tyler Herro who is a young player and been an All Star. We got draft picks including the 13th pick in this draft… And Giannis I think wants to be in Miami. There’s more check marks on Miami. I’m not sure Boston is ready to trade Jaylen Brown”
Kevin Garnett says Dwyane Wade taught LeBron James on how to be a superstar👀
“Wade taught him how to be a superstar. Wade taught LeBron way more than people wanna give him credit for. He (Wade) had won already. He (Bron) didn’t know how to win — he was a young superstar who played with a bunch of B n***as — he ain’t play with no n**** like D-Wade…he (Wade) got Bron more nasty — he’s finna whoop Chalmers, he ain’t ever do no sh*t like that. He (Bron) always wanna be nice, dancing and taking pictures — you remember Bron in Cleveland before he got to D-Wade? Man D-Wade made him nasty, he made him a f*cking problem. If D-Wade not on that team — we might’ve beat a Bosh/Bron team…D-Wade was that big of a presence…”

Shannon Sharpe believes people disrespect Dwyane Wade in the James Harden debate because they only pay attention to his final few years in the league:
“I think people just looking at D Wades last couple years when his knees were bad. People don’t realize D Wade from when he came into the league until 2012, the first 10 years. Sometimes that’s what happens. When you get old, people don’t realize how great you were when you were younger, and healthier. They look at him in Chicago, Cleveland. No, I don’t look at that.”

#COWBOYS QB DAK PRESCOTT WAS LIVING IT UP AT BILLY BOB’S HONKY-TONK IN TEXAS THIS WEEKEND.
Prescott was chugging beers with his teammates and HC Brian Schottenheimer.
Dak recently broke up with his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos right before their wedding.
Haywood Highsmith on ‘Playoff Jimmy’ and the 2023 finals run:
“That was a crazy experience. That was some of the greatest scoring, like obliteration I’ve seen out of somebody. Jimmy Butler on that run, he was killing. Game 4 in Miami when he had 50, that was the loudest I heard the Kaseya center.
When he hit that step back 3, I dropped to my knees. I’m like ‘yo, what am I watching? This is crazy.’ That run was special. I’m just upset we couldn’t finish it…. Game 2 when Grant got him fired up, bad move. Jimmy is cool off the court… People think we got beef, I don’t have any beef with Jimmy. He’s cool. He’s very misunderstood.”

Jeff Teague thinks the Heat are going to land Giannis AND Ja Morant this offseason:
“I think Giannis needs to go to Miami. Him and Bam rock out. They going to win because they’ll get Ja Morant for the low too. They won’t be able to shoot for sh*t. It’ll be pack the paint but they’ll get to the basket… The Heatles are back! Pat Riley up there cooking again. He’s 98 years old!”

Kevin Garnett wants to see the Miami Heat get some help around Bam Adebayo:
“They got culture and will play hard every night. I want better for Bam though. Miami is such a dope place to play. Dope culture. I hope they’re able to get some good players to come down there, man.”

Drake just dropped a Giannis to Miami bar in his ICEMAN Album 🧊
“I never lost the beef let’s keep it a Buck though, I’m bout to take my talents down to South Beach like I’m Antetokounmpo”
Metta World Peace was impressed with Bam scoring 83:
“I was very happy for him. I was super impressed. It seemed like everyone was just talking about the FTs and the And Ones. He had 31 PTS in the first quarter. That’s crazy. At that point you have to go for it. — You can’t blame Bam for going for it. I would’ve done the same. Foul me all you want and give me Free Throws if I have a chance to pass Kobe Bryant and be right behind Wilt. That’s an incredible achievement.”

Mario Chalmers felt like Dwyane Wade should’ve won MVP in 2009👀
“I went to a team that was 15-67 the year before that so it was kind of like all we had to was win more than 16 games…and we end up winning 43 games that year and I always say that was D-Wade’s MVP year because he was the one who led our team…”

Got screwed over in Dame trade
Got screwed over in Rozier trade
Went through the Jimmy saga
Lamelo injured Bam on purpose in play in
Do things the right way and never tank
Have never moved up in the NBA draft
Stayed at the 13th pick this year
Adam Silver literally hates us
I really am speechless right now
Bleacher Report has the Miami Heat as a potential landing spot for LeBron:
“The Heat are considered to be a top suitor for Giannis. If they could get that blockbuster done, James could form a new super team with Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo.”
