Shri @RahulGandhi ji is leading a second struggle for independence. This time the fight is not against a foreign crown, but against the theft of the Indian vote.
In 1947, India won the right to govern itself. That right rests on the ballot. Vote Chori is an attempt to take it back. A deleted name, a manufactured entry, a booth padded with ghost voters: each is a small annexation of the republic.
He has called the Special Intensive Revision what the evidence suggests it is: institutionalised chori, a filter against the poor, the migrant, the Dalit, the Adivasi and the minority voter.
In Parliament, he defended the one foundation on which every mandate rests: trust. He has stood between the Election Commission and those who would capture it.
This week he carried the fight to the street. Marching to the Commission and stopped by the police, he waited for hours to place one charge before the Chief Election Commissioner: that vote chori has been done on his watch. When the gate is shut, you sit. When the institution will not hear, you make the people hear.
The first freedom struggle broke a colonial state. This one must break a colonial habit: the belief that power may manufacture its own majority.
The vote is the country. Save the vote, and you save India.

🇮🇳 When loving your country becomes a crime, patriotism is on trial and democracy is in danger.
A nation is not defined by those who rule it, but by the freedom of its people to question those in power.
Patriotism is not obedience to a government. It is loyalty to the Constitution, democracy, and the people of India. 🇮🇳

So stop supporting this govt on all issues. Stop your MPs from backing Delimitation. Don’t back the very people who have destroyed institutions & then play to the gallery, Sir!
India’s strength has never been uniformity; it is our ability to hold diversity together under one #Constitution.
The @BJP4India cannot turn every question of identity, faith and citizenship into an electoral instrument and then call it governance.
Reforms affecting families, faith and citizenship must earn public trust—not be imposed to meet a political calendar.
@AmitShah the Constitution belongs to every Indian, not to the government of the day.

UPI was supposed to remove barriers from everyday commerce, not create a new cost at the payment counter.
If a small trader has to think twice before accepting digital payment, we must ask whether policy is serving the citizen or the system.
India’s digital success should make transactions simpler, not make the ordinary Indian pay more for convenience.
@narendramodi should know that governance should reduce the burden on people, not keep inventing new ways to measure it.

Happy Teachers’ Day to all the wonderful teachers! 🌸🙏
Civilization exists, knowledge flourishes, and generations progress because of you.
Thank you for educating, inspiring, mentoring, and shaping the future of humanity. 📚✨
What can be published across the globe is suddenly unprintable in India. @PenguinIndia crumbling under @narendramodi govt pressure to edit Smt. Sonia Gandhi’s Memoir 'Belonging' is a tragic blow to publishing integrity. The truth doesn't need your censorship. #Belonging
Conducted a training session for the District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents of Maharashtra at MTDC Grape Park Resort, near Gangapur Dam, Nashik.
The session focused on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots, improving coordination, political outreach and preparing our district leadership to effectively take the @INCIndia's message and programmes to the people.
A strong organisation, empowered leadership and constant engagement with the people remain central to building a stronger @INCMaharashtra.
#WATCH | RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to address the Indian diaspora in New York for the 'Universal Oneness Celebrations' at Madison Square Garden on August 29, 2026.
Ahead of the event, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani said, "I also stand here as the first Indian American mayor in our city’s history. My mother’s family is all still in India. The vision of India that I was taught by my family, and the one that I grew up being very familiar with, was of a pluralistic society — a secular republic that believed in the belonging of each and every person who was from India. It has been incredibly troubling to see the rise of a movement that is predicated on an exclusionary vision of any country, frankly. And so it is one that I find myself in deep opposition to — not only as an Indian American, but also as the mayor of a city that believes deeply in the belonging of each and every person, no matter their color, their creed, their religion, their faith, wherever they’re from."
When asked whether the RSS rally should be cancelled, he said, "I don’t support the rally, but I don’t know if the city has any jurisdiction over cancelling a private event."

“Dissent is not a threat to democracy. Dissent is democracy at work.”
1. 80 years ago, the Indian Freedom Movement rose against British imperialism and paved the way for our freedom.
2. Today, the voices of Gen Z & Gen Alpha can help carry India forward—challenging authoritarianism, feudalism, inequality, and injustice, while defending democracy, freedom, equality, and constitutional values.
Long Live India! 🇮🇳 Happy Independence Day!

Rahul Gandhi’s message to PM Modi during the Delhi student protests was that students raising concerns about the education system should be heard rather than subjected to police action. He argued that their demands were legitimate, criticized the use of tear gas and baton charges against protesters, called for accountability over examination-related controversies, and urged the government to engage with students and address their concerns. He also sought a discussion on the issue in Parliament.

Every household is once again bearing the burden of rising prices. The @narendramodi government has increased the domestic LPG cylinder price by ₹29, making life harder for crores of families across India. When kitchen expenses keep rising, the poorest suffer first. Governance must ease people's hardships, not deepen them.

@KRajuINC@RahulGandhi Modi-Shah turning Indian Democracy to “Electoral Autocracy”. Vote is essence of Constitution and it had been robbed from citizens.
Shri @RahulGandhi Ji is absolutely right. What happened in #Bengal and #Assam is not just an electoral issue, it is a warning for every citizen who believes in democracy and constitutional values. When institutions weaken and mandates are questioned, silence becomes dangerous. India is bigger than party rivalries. We must stand united to protect democratic rights and federalism. #SaveDemocracy #WestBengal #Assam #Constitution #INDIAAlliance #Federalism
