A borrower who took a loan from Dimkes DT Sacco and used their vehicle logbook as collateral has been caught in a cycle of frustration after settling the full amount, only to face weeks of delays in reclaiming their document.

Despite making frequent visits to the Sacco’s Nairobi branch and persistently following up with the headquarters, he has been met with unfulfilled promises and a lack of clear communication on when the logbook will be released.

The experience has left them questioning whether this is a deliberate attempt to frustrate clients who have already met their financial obligations.

The borrower now warns others against seeking financial services from the institution and is seeking advice on the best steps to take in addressing the matter.

"Hello Nyakundi. I regret engaging myself with Dimkes DT Sacco Ltd. Having borrowed a loan with my car logbook as collateral, I paid the loan amount in full a month later, and the rest was history. After weeks of requesting my logbook with daily visits to their branch in CBD, it has all been in vain, with vague promises from their headquarters. I have been so frustrated and wondering what their end goal is. I would never vouch for or refer anyone to this unprofessional company. Avoid this Sacco or credit facility even if it is your last option. Kindly ask your followers to advise me on how I can deal with this matter accordingly."
